  1. Well we can let you know maybe what Hawaii is like, for my partner and I are going on Carnival for her 50th in late Sept of this year - 2009. It leaves Honolulu the 28th and we sail the islands, then sail back to Ensanada, MX, flying back to Mpls/StPaul from San Diego. I am WIlma and my partners name is Sarna - shes originally from Rolla, MO by the way

What a way to turn 50!!! Wish we could join you both sounds like a lot of fun. Share some photos when you go and tell me if you feel like you get to see enough of the islands. I have been to Hawaii a couple times on land tours but my partner never has....which I will never hear the end of if we don't go soon.

  2. Let's throw out some ideas of places everyone would like to go to perhaps in 2010 so we can maybe come up with a plan of attack.

By the way my name is caron and my partners name is jane. we are 46 & 47 together 6 years. Would love to have some friends that are interested in cruising as we are. As I have said before we generally go yearly. We would like to go to Hawaii or the bahama's next year. But not sure how Hawaii would be on a cruise. Anyone else have any idea's?

  3. My partner and I cruise yearly and have never been on Olivia due to the cost. Never could justify spending that kind of money. I think it would be fun to find some like minded people to cruise with in the future. Anyone going to be on the Mariner of The Seas March 29, 2009 heading to the Mexican Riviera???

  4. Weatlh equals class? The more money you have equals more open mindedness? PLEASE....where did you come up with this way of thinking? You have got to be fairly young with a lot of growing up to do and thus I will take that into consideration when reading your posts in the future

  5. funlady,

Thanks.....we have always just worn slacks and a shirt...neither one of us likes to wear sparkly things. But I was a little afraid of the fashion police that would enforce the dress code. And believe me.... me in a dress is not pretty sight:p .

BTW, did you by chance do Stingray City in Grand Cayman?

    Hey funlady,

I know you didn't ask me but I did the stingray city in Grand Cayman and it was awesome! We had a ball. It was somewhat intimidating at first but I got over that very quickly. Don't miss it if you have the opportunity.

  6. Hi, I am Caron and my partner, Jane, and I have just started cruising in the last couple of years and we love it! We are about to take our second cruise in August 2007 on the "Vision of the Seas" to Alaska. Although we loved our first cruise to the Western Carribean it would have been even more memorable experience had we been able to share it with some like minded friends. So, this time we did some recruiting of our friends, who in turn invited their friends. We will be joinning up on this cruise from different states. It is giving us a great chance to all get together and visit with old friends while making some new ones and to share what I think will be an awesome experience. I would love to be able to meet other people on the cruise or in the future that we can possibly travel with. We too like to go on at least one cruise a year. Too bad I didn't hear about you sooner and Jane has always wanted to go to Hawaii. I myself have been there twice and it is gorgeous. My favorite island is Kauai. Please drop me a line and let me know how you enjoyed your trip.
