"Uploaded redacted copy of most recent monthly investment account  statement."

Here's my question. How do you actually do this? Where do you find a redacted copy to upload?

When I have used the email method I go through the following steps

Print out a paper copy of the page with the Carnival stock

Use a felt tip pen to redact

    Scan the redacted page

Attach the scanned copy to the email which contains all the other required information.

I have very limited knowledge on how to use apps. I mainly use my phone for some calls and texts to my children. Don't carry it around most of the time.

I am not happy about the forced use of a cell phone.

I am far from a tech genius. I redact a copy manually like you. Then scan it and attach the file to an email to myself. Download the file from the email to my phone. Then upload the file into the Stockperks app.

  2. I am an Elite member approaching final payment date on an April cruise. I have private cancel/interrupt/delay insurance, so the Princess plan is useful to me only for the cancel for any reason protection and we get upgraded free to the Platinum Plan as Elite. Sometimes we take the Princess insurance, sometimes not. Surprised to see on the Princess site recently the statement " effective October 16, 2023, this product is no longer available for purchase by British Columbia residents ". My Princess Vacation Planner confirmed by phone this week that this is in fact correct, but could not say why it has changed. Beware if you are a BC resident.

  3. Well done folks. When I sent my email to Celebrity One Touch a couple of days ago, did not suspect

this rapid about face by the cruise line.  14912 views of this thread so far. Apparently this issue got the

attention of Celebrity customers and the cruise line.

Now will be interesting to see the implementation. Will Celebrity do it well with a good selection

of in cabin movies ( Princess provides quite an impressive selection ) or will it be a token effort just

to appease the annoyed ? Lets hope for the former.

We join the Eclipse next Sunday Sept 22 at Vancouver, so will see the result soon.

Just received my reply from One Touch.....Not sure if I will try to continue the  conversation.

    Dear Mrs. and Mr........

We are grateful you have taken the time to contact Celebrity Cruises. It is always a pleasure to hear from our Captain’s Club members, and I am pleased to have this opportunity to answer your concern.

I am very sorry you are disappointed that we’ll no longer be offering free movies in our stateroom television line-up. Although in-stateroom movies will now only be pay-per-view, we want you to know that we’ll continue to show a good selection of new release films in the ship’s public areas, like in the theater and on our outdoor screens. Also, if you prefer to watch shows in the comfort of your own room, you’ll still have access to a variety of free TV channels. We hope you enjoy these viewing options when sailing with Celebrity.

We really appreciate that you’ve taken the time to share your thoughts regarding this recent change to our stateroom movies. Your feedback is extremely important to us, and we are carefully reviewing all comments being sent our way and sharing them with our operational teams.

Mrs. And Mr  .. ..... thank you for your continued loyalty to and support of Celebrity Cruises. We look forward to welcoming you aboard another Celebrity sailing in the future.

    Sincerely,

    Tyrus Thompson

Interesting. Exactly the same response I got from Celebrity One Touch -  word for word - signed by a different rep. So they are clearly just doing a cut and paste job in their replies to this issue. Gives you some idea how insincere Celebrity is to

a valid point being raised by a past customers. No wonder some are reconsidering loyalty to Celebrity. My wife and I cruise mostly on Princess but sometimes on Celebrity ( next up Sept 22 on Eclipse ). Princess still is our fav - love the traditional promenade deck ( and free movies in cabin !) Tried an MSC cruise recently. Now there is a line that is into adding value to attract new business, rather than cutting.

The rights to display them in cabin increase the cost from just the rights for public viewing.

If Celebrity is trying to market themselves as a premium vacation they have to find ways to set themselves apart.  Free On Demand Movies is something the lower end lines do not have.

If you really want to attract the next generation of cruisers, the millennials,  you have to cater to that market.  The millennial generation is used to instantaneous access to movies and pretty much everything.   The On Demand Movies was something that everyone I knew absolutely loved about celebrity and also something that Disney has that everyone also commented on as a great amenity.   I cannot speak for HA or Princess as I have not been on them in 10 years or so.  The in room entertainment, while not the main reason we book a cruise is definitely something we consider, and we are not the only ones.  Especially if itineraries are similar.

Princess offers a good selection of on demand free movies in cabins.

  6. Response received today from Celebrity One Touch after I expressed my opinion on Celebrity cutting

in cabin on demand movies free of charge. They responded quickly.

    Dear Mr. McWhirter:

  7. For MSC my way of avoiding waits on the toll free line is never book online, but get a person ( maybe wait on the first call to book ). But after that only call the same person on his/her direct line ( for booking changes, payments etc ). When you call back direct, you get either the person or personal voice mail for a callback. Works perfect, at least for North American bookings ( you are calling to a direct line at their Fort Lauderdale

    office )

  8. Every reply to the original question has been off topic.

What was asked at the beginning was does anyone know " the names of the Red and White wines now being poured " as included in the Drinks are on Us promotion on the Seaside

We know that MSC says they will offer " a selection of 2 reds and 2 whites "

It would be nice to hear the answer to the question asked, so that one can decide if upgrading to the Classsic package is worthwhile.

A good question. Anyone know the answer ??

  9. Recently used this promo to book Oct 15 Venice to Barcelona 12 n on Nieuw Amsterdam. No OBC for inside cabin received but a price drop from $ 1900 to $ 1200 for a guarantee inside cabin. Previously could never find a decent price for this cruise. Sometimes pays to wait, sometimes not.

Booked long time ago Oct 27 repo cruise from Barcelona to Florida on Celebrity Equinox at $ 900 for inside cabin. Price never went down and eventually doubled and almost sold out.

I've given up trying to figure out cruise pricing. You just never know
