i have free worldwide travel insurance through my bank for everything except my pre existing medical conditions. Namely a stroke and atrial fibulation. Does anyone know a company that would cover my medical conditions only,

Dress code,
I eventually got clarification re this. I was assured it was just a re - name, no change to the requirements.

I am absolutely disgusted by Cunard absolute lack of clarity re the so called change in dress code. I have spoken to Southampton , they can’t explain anything, emailed Carnival, nothing, my travel agent could find out nothing either. We have 4 cruises booked with Cunard this year. I think myself and all the other customers deserved better treatment. After all at the end of the day we are paying all these far cats wages who cannot even answer a simply question,

I have just returned from a brilliant cruise to the Baltic on Emerald. I was disgusted by the total lack of enforcement of the dress code. Shorts, tee shirts, polo shirts etc being allowed into thE MDR. On complaining about it the staff attitude was " well so what, nothing we can do about it ". It states quite clearly on the brochure what must and must not be worn on formal nights. If they don't like formal there are other eateries they can go to or go on a cruise line that doesn't do formal. I think it is time Princess abandoned formal.

I have just recently returned from a wonderful cruise to the Baltic on Emerald.
The lack of discipline on the dress code was disgusting. Shorts, tee shirts, polo shirts on formal nights. When I Questioned it the Maitre D' said they couldn't enforce it. Then why bother having formal night, it makes a mockery of all there advertising re formal night. I think the time has arrived for Princess to Abandon this and just do "smart casual" all the time. It works on other cruise lines.

We were on Queen Victoria last Christmas and thought Cunard looked after the children very well. As well as the already mentioned carols, services etc., the children were all gathered into the Queens Room on Christmas morning. Santa climbed into the ship's funnel - (viewed via a giant screen) and came down the funnel and then found his way to the Queens Room with his helpers. Here, the kids were given their presents which seemed to go down very well!!
Hope you have a good time on Queen Victoria. We enjoyed our Christmas on board so much that we have booked Queen Elizabeth this year.
Thanks for comments, we are doing our 1st Xmas cruise on QE this year.really looking forward to it.

Just back from a superb cruise on Norwegian jewel. The food and staff were brilliant. The entertainments left a bit to be desired. The anytime dining was great. We will certainly cruise with them again.

This is the best value around. Kids get their own sticker on their key card and can use it themselves:)
