  1. Hello,

Do Princess Cruises really have best priced excursions, or is it just a marketing hype to get you to book though them?

Previously when we have cruised, princess never had that offer and we found it much cheaper to book independently, unsure what to do for our upcoming NZ cruise?

Being time poor, I don’t want to spend hours researching excursions if princess excursions are price competitive, plus you have the peace of mind of knowing you won’t be left behind if the tour is late.

    Any advice appreciated

  2. I am a seasoned Bali traveller, have been going 2-3 times a year since 1990 by air. I always rave about Bali.

Oct /Nov 2015 we were on a cruise ship that ported at Lombok ( Lamebok in my opinion) :D and I will NEVER EVER go there again, the aggressive nature of the drivers touting for a fare was intimidating and scary. We were with 15 others that have put up with my Bali boasting for years, who could not understand how I could visit so often...It took a lot of convincing to make them understand the rest of Bali is not like that, even so, not 1 of the 15 will ever visit Bali.

I will be in Benoa on a cruise this Oct and if its the same as Lamebok, I will never take a cruise that goes to Bali again...Rant Over :D

  3. I will be on the Sea Princess stopping in Vietnam 28 sept of all the ports I am at a loss of what to do in Vietnam. The Ship excursions are just too expensive, does anyone know if they will also offer the free shuttle? Thank You

  4. The prices I haven quoted have been emailed to me, only 2 days ago, so assume they are current. We were on the same cruise ship last November and only paid USD$ 35 for Indonesia their new prices are price gouging. I called a few visa agency's for Vietnam and Cambodia and they told me they cannot do visa for travel on a cruise ship. So guess we have no choice but to pay. :(

  5. Wow only $8 princess are quoting us US$56 dollars per person for vietnam. Does anyone know the cost if you arrange the visa yourself? Thanks

  6. Hi Everyone,

Just wondering what is easier or more cost effective, to prearrange your Visas yourself before you board the cruiseship or just let the Cruise ship arrange it. We need three for a 14day cruise. One for Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia The visa for Indonesia is US$25 more per person than paying for it on arrival, not sure how much extra the other countrys are as I havent never been there before.

Just wondering what everone else does.

FYI we are all Australian Citizens

    TIA
