My view on the kids clubs, I’m bringing my kids on vacation to spend time with them, not have someone else watch them.

Is this offered on all ships? Sounds fun

I just got booked my first Princess cruise for November, no vaccine required. Already approved to sail. Carnival better jump on the wagon and get some of this money.
How did you get approved? Did you have to book first and put your deposit down? What if the unvaxxed is over limit? Do you get your deposit back?

At what point can you call to cancel due to the protocols and get a refund, not FCC? We have a cruise at the end of January

Always wanted to try one, but never been able to pull the trigger.

We stayed there a few years ago. Didn’t get to check the whole hotel out because we got there around 8pm and left for cruise the next morning. We thought the hotel was good though and close to restaurants and the port

I have a cruise in Jan 2021, so my final payment is due in Nov. If they haven’t cancelled cruises in Jan by my final payment in Nov, my only options are to lift and shift, or take fcc correct? I’d rather cancel before final payment and get my deposit refunded, but I have to wait until RC cancel’s correct?

If you fly out of southern Florida and can take a few extra days, rent a car and drive down to the keys 😍

I would say Ft Lauderdale due to the closeness of the port to airport but we’ve only cruised out of there once. Even though port canaveral is a trek from the airport we have been cruising from there lately. They have rental car drop offs right near the port. You can easily get a one way rental from MCO for $40. Much cheaper then a shuttle and the freedom to go where you want if you fly in a day early.

Grand Turk. We did a snorkeling excursion last year and then they brought us to this gorgeous beach. Wish we could have stayed longer. Also Labadee, pre revamp. We went there in 2005 and loved it then. It’s too commercialized now.

Also, how many port days do you have that you will be off the ship, not able to use the drink package fully.

Yes. 😄
To be specific about Voyager and Freedom class ships, which are identical on the aft except for the numbering, Deck 10 aft corner cabins have both a very large balcony and the floor space of (almost) a Junior Suite, for the price of a Spacious Balcony cabin. Other decks have much larger balconies than side cabins. Corner aft cabin on Deck 7 has a HUUUUUGE wrap-around balcony.
We have 7688 on Mariner. I was assuming it was as the pictures above. What do you mean by the Wrap-around? Does it have even more space?

When I booked our cruise a few weeks ago I chose Traditional dining. I just called to switch to My time dining. I thought with my time dining you had to prepay gratuities. I asked and he said I didn’t have to.

How is the weather for a Bahamas cruise in January? Is the water at the beach warm enough to go in? We did a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean last month that left out of Port Canaveral. The first day was rough and cooler.

How are you supposed to drink a Strawberry Daiquiri without a straw??? Honestly??!

How does it work when they deliver to the hotel? Do they leave it at the front desk or do you have to be in the lobby to meet them?

I am a person who doesn’t like crowds. We did the Sunshine 2 years ago and I thought it was great. We are actually doing the opposite of you in January and going on the Breeze

What other ships have those waterslides? I know Adventure does.

Thanks. I just wondered if anyone knew off hand. My husband and I want different itineraries. My son loves the water slides on the ships. Which usually means the newer bigger ships that go to the popular islands. The best for us to make everyone happy I have seen so far is the Magic going to st Thomas, San Juan, amber cove and grad Turk.

I would love to go to these islands. Was this the only cruise or are there others that do this or a similar itinerary? I'm sick of the same ol Nassau, GC, Jamaica.

Houston area storms
in Gulf Coast Departures

Flying in to Hobby tomorrow afternoon for a cruise on Thursday. How is the area after the storms today?
