  1. On some ships they do offer lobster on one night in the WJ. Usually the second formal night or the night after that. It may also vary by cruise and how much they have left over from the formal night in the MDR.

  2. I'm really surprised nobody has sailed the room and have an answer about 4 pages of talk. This is an exact example of this being a wasted thread.

I have been in the panoramic room on the Navigator of the Seas and I did have a gold colored badge. I just did not know what it was. I thought it was because I was a gold member. Last year on the liberty I was in a regular port hole and had a blue badge. I started asking question and found it was not a member thing but a room thing. So I have the Panoramic room coming up again soon so I was researching the perks when I came across here. We will see how it goes.

  3. We have the 12 night TA on Symphony booked for Oct. 2018. We were just able to book the specialty dinner package of 5 nights for 115.00, we also booked the 2 night bogo for 30.00. That brings the daily charge down to 21.00. They will probably book us into 2 restaurants the first night so we will just change one for later in the cruise. They are offering the ultimate package for 348.00 pp, seems a little pricey but it includes 11 sea day lunches.

  4. Anyone know of any organizations that would allow volunteers to help for a few hours? My husband and I arrive in San Juan the night before our cruise and since the boat doesn't leave until the following evening, I was thinking we could volunteer a for a few hours if there was something that needed basic help?

  5. I stayed there in March because I had a very early morning flight and was driving in from outside the San Juan metro area. It was clean, very quiet, and the wifi in the room was excellent. I had a (surprisingly) very tasty hot sandwich for dinner, but the restaurant would not be available at midnight. There is a free hot buffet breakfast included in the room rate, but I cannot comment on that since I checked out very early. I would stay there again if I had a very early flight or late arrival.

I have a couple photos from the room but haven't figured out how to post them here.

  6. Just from what I have heard/read, that airport hotel is a dump. I'd just stay at one of the better hotels in the area - the Courtyard Isla Verde is less than 1/2 mile away.

I stayed at the Wyndham awhile ago, when it was still a Westin. The golf courses are really nice and fun. Two totally different types between the Ocean course anthem River course. You can wander a little further a few miles and you have the course at Bahia Beach, too.

Thanks so much for the info
