It’s entirely possible I just can’t figure it out.
On the bright side, I see all the Boomers boarding these ships. I’m sure I’m not the only one in this boat, so to speak.
It disappeared for me but then this morning I was able to complete it, the old standby “reboot the app” did the trick 👍

I will be on this sailing as well and am heading to the airport in a few hours - safe travels!

Does anyone have experience with the Post Cruise City Tour of Seattle offered by Seattle Express? Due to flight times I am flying home the day after my cruise and this looks like a good way to spend the day, but I would love to hear some first hand experiences.

Has anyone booked the Taku Lodge & 5 Glacier Seaplane excursion directly with Wings Airways as opposed to a ship sponsored excursion? I really want to have this experience but the price offered by RC right now is significantly more than booking direct ($804 vs $475). Would there be any reason not to book directly with Wings?

I have always been able to have breakfast in the WJ before an excursion purchased through RC. I believe they will tweak the times if an extra early port arrival.
It would crazy to send a large percentage of passengers ashore without feeding them??
That was not the case for my cruise this past May. My full day excursion tour left at 7:30am and the tickets had us meeting in the theater at 7 to disembark and get to the bus to head out at 7:30. The windjammer opened at 7 that morning.

I would also suggest ordering room service breakfast for that morning, since the other venues won't be open before your scheduled meeting time.

I am absolutely interested! Did you have to find someone who specifically deals with landsickness/Mal de Debarquement Syndrome? Or just a general acupuncturist?
General acupuncturist! At the time I had been going routinely for other things and casually mentioned at one appointment how annoying the landsickness was, didn't expect it to be an instant fix but in my case it was, a wonderful surprise!

I experience this as well and after my last cruise I found acupuncture helped get my brain back on land! When I walked in the door to the appointment, my brain was still at sea, when i walked out, I was back on level ground! If you are looking for a non-medication option, give it a try!

Thank you both! With the Black Friday pricing it is cheaper than getting to the airport and going to the lounge so I am going to book it 🙂

For my upcoming cruise out of Cape Liberty, the best flight option out of EWR is at 3:30pm. I had planned on just getting a United lounge pass to spend the time, but I see the Manhattan Highlights and Transfer to Airport and was wondering if anyone has experience with this/thinks it is a decent use of the time?

I agree that eating alone in the main dining room was the most uncomfortable. The last time I cruised was last fall just as things were opening back up, so I was placed at a table alone (at that time you could only dine with people in your group due to COVID), for my upcoming cruise I requested a large table to be seated with others. Casual dining was fine for me. I will add, on around the third night I met an older couple (I am in my 40's, they were in their 70's) and ended up having a great conversation one evening and we requested table changes to put my solo dining table next to theirs, which was nice. I would encourage you to keep an open mind, because I ended up having a lovely time with those two throughout my cruise, regardless of the demographic "mismatch".

I consider myself an introvert and cruised solo for the first time last year. From my experience, it is much easier to strike up conversations on a cruise because you already have something in common with everyone around you - you are enjoying your vacation! Out in the real world if you are waiting in line for coffee in the morning, you are surrounded by people in varying stages of morning routines/rushing around, thinking about work and school drop offs and to do lists, whereas waiting for your coffee on your cruise? Everyone is just looking forward to what's ahead that day, completely different mindset. I also found that a simple compliment can either strike up a conversation or, if the recipient isn't interested in chatting, you at least feel good for providing a compliment. I often carried a book around with me and when I saw another "book person" it was a great ice breaker. Don't overthink it or worry about it, I am sure you will meet some great people and have a wonderful time!

I know I would have no issue and even try to help if possible. These little things many people don't think about....
I second (or third at this point) this, I would have no issue with a man assisting his wife (or daughter) in the ladies room.

Morning room service is included (continental only), but other times there is a fee of 7.95
I was on Oasis last week and all room service breakfast before 11am was complimentary. The room service paperwork still listed the 7.95 fee for hot breakfast items, but the Cruise Compass noted no fee before 11am. I ordered hot breakfast several mornings to enjoy on my balcony and there was no charge 🙂

All of the free PCR testing options in my area are a 1-3(+) day turnaround. However, there is a private lab near the airport that offer same day PCR testing (2-4 hour turnaround) for $250 to address travelers needs, maybe you have a private lab option in your area?

Quick question about masks for those who have sailed recently - are there any restrictions as to "acceptable" masks? I.E. do they need to be the disposable 3-ply or are cloth masks acceptable?

Since I will book with RC Air2sea, how do I contact them? Or, do they automatically change the flights?
I was on a cruise that had an adjusted return date due to a storm, we had booked our flights through Air2Sea, they automatically updated our return flights and the new flight info and confirmation numbers were placed in our "mailbox" outside the cabin. They made it very easy and we were happy to have used Air2Sea and not have to deal with it on our own (especially with ever changing return ETA's being announced).

This is a review of our Anthem of the Seas New England/Canada adventure from August 25 – September 3, 2016. We are a family of 5 (myself, DW, DD 8, DS 7 and DD 4) in adjoining balcony cabins (11556, 11558) on Deck 11 right across from the entrance to Adventure Ocean, the kid’s club. It was the PERFECT location for us. Not noisy at all, right near the elevators and right near the kid’s club. My father and his girlfriend were in a hump balcony room on Deck 9 (9690) and they loved that location as well. This was a cruise to celebrate his 70th birthday.
Quick question about your fathers room - did they have any issues with smelling smoke out on the balcony from the smoking area below them? I know it is on deck 5 so there is some distance, but I wasn't sure if they noticed it at all. Thanks!

Has anybody been in the D1/D7 side by side cabins that are on the "bumps" of the ship. For example, 9690/9692, 10288/10290, etc?
I am curious if those "bump" areas still allow for the balcony partition to open - given one balcony is larger than the other.
I stayed in 10288 with a friend next door in 10286 and we were able to open the balcony partition (these two are at a slightly smaller angle than 10288/10290). I don't recall the other partition (on the 10290 side) being any different (and think you should be able to have it opened).

I just got off Anthem and had connecting balcony cabins on Deck 10, the connecting doors were right as you walk in the main cabin door next to the full length mirror and did not get in the way of any furniture. We were also able to have the balcony partition opened up to connect the balconies.
