I sure hope so. We're on that sailing. We need a cruise!

The extension does include a breakfast and transfers from the airport and to the ship.

Very interesting question and insight. However, I wouldn’t be worried!
Actually, the mediation wasn't successful. Everyone is waiting for the judge's ruling hopefully this next week. We are still up in the air. (I'm on a Viking cruise out of FLL in November and have that extension. Hoping to hear more about that extension.

I've had 2 knee and 1 hip (3 times, not a normal reaction) replacements. I had my first knee replacement at 49. I'm 62 now. Hips, are by far easier than knees. Both Anterior and Posterior hip surgeries are better than the knees. Although, I have a couple of friends who have had robotic knee surgery and were up and around in 3 days.
It does take about 6 months for the knees to feel "regular" again. -
Just about anywhere.

One of the big differences is California will be the small ships (Wonder or Magic). Florida you might have an option, but the large ships (Dream and Fantasy) are both in Port Canaveral year round.

We have been on 4 Disney Cruises as adults with no kids (except for the one with our grown children this last New Years) and have another one booked next year. We like Disney Cruises. We tried a Royal Caribbean cruise this year and were constantly comparing it (not positively) to Disney. We love Disney entertainment. The food is outstanding. The ships are in great shape. Service is amazing.
Yes, we pay more for Disney but are happy too. -
We're on that same cruise. The second day (Castaway Cay Day) is Pirate Night.
