Thank you, everyone. I ended up buying directly from Westjet Hnl/Vancouver round for $460 +$30 seat pick sale just before Thanksgiving. A person who used to live in Canada mentioned he hasn't seen prices much below $500 especially during cruise season.

Hi, all! First post here. Appreciate this great resource. Already booked HAL Alaska for June. Now shopping for hotel and airfare.

Regarding hotel, Sam's Club Travel has a great price for a hotel in Vancouver, but I'm wary because haven't booked through anything other than directly w/ hotel. I've read horror stories of third-party reservations being denied upon arrival because of claim that couldn't complete transaction of credit card. Yay or nay re using Sam's Travel?
