Unknown at this point.  There is a 5 night Galveston round trip departing on Oct 20, a gap, then she starts sailing from San Juan on Oct. 31.

At the moment the 25th through the 31st is not listed.

San Juan has a PVSA waiver so they don't need to include the ABC islands on that repo.  Many repo cruises between the mainland and San Juan are ~5 nights so the gap appears consistent with a traditional San Juan repo.

We were on the original 9 day repo. and it was changed on our current cruise page to a 6 day by removing Aruba and Curacao. The replacement was Falmouth, but we still end in Miami on the 31st.

  2. I'm still trying to figure out how 313 people fit inside of those lifeboats on Anthem. I wish the video included footage of a simulated evacuation. I guess they readily acknowledge we are in for pure every man for himself chaos in the event of an actual emergency. I'm pretty sure the Solarium squatters will try to bring their chairs with them.

I make sure to put a towel and book down on a seat inside the life boat to save my place.

  3. Good news, we were able to use the valet program! The form was left in our suite and we were disappointed to see that the earliest flight was 2:00 pm. Ours was at 1:55, so naturally we went to ask guest services. The young man working there said no, not even if your flight is at 1:59. This was very early in the morning and rather than demand his supervisor, I decided to come back when more staff was available. BINGO! We asked about the service without mentioning the earlier conversation and the young lady said she would put it through for us. On the last night our special tags and our boarding passes were there in our suite after dinner. This was the very happy ending to a great cruise. Cookies on first day (C&A), fruit on second day (suite perk), chocolate strawberries and 2 bottles of champagne on day 4 from the casino, and we actually received our Emerald pins in our suite without asking. Say what you want about west coast cruises, but this one was one for the books for us.

  4. Just curious, is it 4600 tier points or $46. If 4600 tier points, did you get a free cruise. On Brilliance there was, again from memory(?), that if you earned 2500 tier points you would get a free cruise.

It's points. Both My DW and I earned the free cruise and the certificates were left in our cabin. We opted for the cash since we already have cruises booked through early 2019, and their calendar only goes out to 2018.

  5. Just off the Explorer. We were informed (a day late) that we had to ask Wednesday by 10pm, for a cruise that ended Friday, for our points to be applied to our onboard account. Instead we received slot vouchers for our points. My wife and I both had over 4600 points each. We put both into one machine to change the voucher and cashed it out at the cashier.

  6. This may be a bit of a leap but if you like sweet wines I suggest going online and ordering from a vineyard in St. Helena, CA. (Napa Valley). The name of the vineyard is V. Sattui, and they make a wine called Gamay Rouge. It's under the Rose catagory. take a chance on this one and you will not regret it.
