  1. We have just done Trinidad and the rainforest, it is amazing. The hurricane did no real damage. Best excursion there. Adored all the birds and hummingbirds. We did the town afterwards and did not like......

  2. We were on the Caribbean Princess 6/10 to 22/10. We loved it. We had no problems. The bed was sooooo comfy. Stateroom and waiting crew were brilliant. Adored the food in the MDR. World Market place for breakfast and lunch was limited for us but that was mainly because of our limited dietary requirements, seating was ok. Would be nice if there was more. Itinerary Was lovely. Adored Asa Wright in Trinidad it was amazing would do it again and again!! but would not go anywhere alone next time!!!!

  3. We're on the ta now, and we've been on board since September 10. I'm sorry to have to say this, but we've had nothing but problems. Our toilet takes up to an hour to flush, the water in the shower goes from freezing cold to boiling hot in the blink of an eye, and the room since we've been in the warmer climate is very warm. This is our eighth transatlantic, and we sailed in much rougher sees especially in the North Atlantic. This has been the roughest and most uncomfortable crossing we've ever had. The ship is rocking and rolling a lot and I'm just not sure it has the capacity at this point to handle even the slight seas we've had.

Well this is our 24th cruise with princess in the last 10 years it is our first time on the Caribbean, and we won't be selling her again. There has been a marked change for the worse in most services since our last cruise which was on the Star just this past March.

Which cabin are you in please? We are on the Caribbean on Saturday.

  4. It was not the moaners on your cruise which caused Princess to reassess their port day in PR, it was the damage to the port and the current situation on going. The situation is absolutely critical down there. Someone from the Coast Guard was at my home yesterday and we were discussing the situation there, she is about to head down there. There are reasons your ship is not going and it's not from people complaining!

See the attached IT WAS THE MOANERS. Princess intended to dock there and bring supplies!!e9d79233336440a4852c1dbd215a1c82.png

  5. I too would have wanted to at least drop off supplies off on my extra "seaday". If PR can't accept visitors, that means that they NEED supplies.

Most of the cruisers would be Americans on your ship and Puerto Rican's are also American citizens. This fact makes your post even more surprising.

Yup I'm disgusted with those who moaned. They don't have to get off the ship and I feel personally it would be best if we remained on the ship and left them to give them the much needed supplies. Now they are all organising a big gambling competition to play on that sea day and it is leaving a very nasty taste in my mouth!!

  6. The port was open for our ship but too many of our cruisers didn't want to go there. I was expecting an at sea day at port so that princess could off load supplies and help the island but that is now nit happening. We will sail past the devastation supping our cocktails looking the other way...... When we could have given then supplies

  7. Bad news, the moaners on our cruise have now caused princess to reassess their port day in PR. We will now not be going and therefore PR will not be getting any help or aid from our cruise. So we now get another at sea day which we could have had at PR whilst they helped the island............... Not impressed with selfish people.

  8. Thanks again. Sure hope it all goes well for SJ stop. Enjoy your cruise!

Thank you so much. I will report back after the cruise. I adore PR. A beautiful place full of lovely people. Spent my honeymoon there in 2015. I so hope they can rebuild. Hope you enjoy your cruises too.

  9. That is encouraging....although surprising. Which cruise line are you sailing if you wouldn't mind sharing? We don't have any answers yet for ours in December....and a lot of others are experiencing the same further out than your October 6th date. Please keep us posted.

  10. I have just got back from Stingray City and the conditions were far from ideal. A three year old and one year old could not cope, the waves were huge and I kept being swept off the sand bar. I guess we were unlucky but if you get those conditions I would be exceptionally concerned..............
