Just came back from there. The access to the aquarium (and therefor the site as well) is $42 USD per person. Same price for kids.

My children want to go to the aquarium. Did you take a taxi over and purchase tickets when you got there or did you purchase tickets/make reservations ahead of time. Thanks!!

This is our first time so I feel clueless! :)

We will be on the Dream and will be stopping in Freeport. My kids (5 & 7) want to go to the beach. Any recommendations?

Experienced cruisers on the larger ships (160,000 tons plus), new to NCL and the Jade, 4 kids aged 11-6.

 

Looking for any tips and tricks from the experienced NCL'ers as well as the Jade pros! Best place to eat on Embarking day, quiet areas to sit, best place for lunch, snacks, tips for kids, tips for adults, etc.

 

Also, we have pretty much made up our mind to attend LFK as we visit Roatan. Any suggestions for the LFK packages, basic and add to it; do you get to use any chairs with just the island discovery package, food/drink prices if buying al la carte there, time to travel from the port to LFK, is the zip-lining worth the cost, are towels provided or available, how much time should we give ourselves to get back to the ship, etc. Are they cash only, tipping etiquette for transportation personal? Should we get the tour or just self guided for the zoo. Can you snorkel here?

 

I know that was a lot of questions rolled into one paragraph, but I appreciate any and all response!

We leave tomorrow on the Jade tomorrow with our two daughters, age 4 & 6. When we get back, I will be sure to leave a review/tips from our experience. :)

We have never cruised NCL before so this will be our first time! We leave on January 9th. Does anyone know the type of activities that are offered during the day/night? Besides babysitting after hours, are there any activities that require additional charge?

Pretty sure an uberx would be about the same price and would save you the trip to the airport. Sorry I can't help with your question.

What hotel are you staying at? If it happens to be the same one, you are welcome to ride to the pier with us and save your money.

Sorry if this has been posted before. I am still new and learning how to navigate the site! :) I was wondering if someone could tell me a good place to park at the Houston Pier. We will be driving up the night before or the morning of our Jan. 9th cruise on the Jade. I thought I would prepay for parking. We usually sail out of Galveston so this will be our first time in Houston.

Also, can anyone recommend a good hotel down in that area that is kinda close to the pier. We are very laid back so it doesn't have to be super fancy but I just prefer no bed bugs!😜

We are taking our 6 and 4 year old daughters on the Jade Jan. 9th. They asked Santa for a cruise for Christmas. Lol. How is the children's program? Anything I should know about cruising with children? How busy is the children's program? I have cruised on carnival before and there are tons of kids. The childcare program was packed with kids. Can they eat at the specialty restaurants? Want is the cost? Me and my husband have the specialty dinning package included but not for the children. Thank you in advance for all the questions! :)
