When we did the same (from aqua), we were not offered the the magic carpet, which makes me think it is not included, but we didn't explicitly ask, so if I was you I would keep your reservation but ask shoreside concierge (if they get in touch)/ your butler (otherwise).
Also, our drinks and WiFi were upgraded to premium. We didn't use the laundry, but we got all of our evening attire pressed, which felt like a treat.
The cabin is incredible, it was so sad to go back to aqua class for our most recent cruise, have a great time!

I don't think anyone else has mentioned it, but here in London, England, prices at my local station are 7.51 USD. And it is a lot cheaper than it was in August.

I booked a cruise for next year with a UK TA, they were able to offer me a package (+ flights, transfer and hotel) for cheaper than exactly the same thing directly. Depends on the sailing, I find you can normally get a small (5%) discount by booking via a TA vs direct.
My next booking is with a US TA, which can be much cheaper, so maybe check one of them first as well?

I have really bad Wi-Fi onboard … so if someone here can search my live review in March for Symphony of the Seas I think I was in Roatan or was it on the Wonder. It’s one of those reviews.
It was on the Oasis! 🤣

Is it possible to upgrade only one person, or do both people in a cabin have to upgrade?

I’m having problems with my husband’s passport!! He’s adamant its ok for a trip in September but Easyjet policy to fly is 6 months on your passport-he’ll have 4 months!!! Passport office cant cope with all the applications/renewals - said 1million just for this month!!
This was also in the news today, this has now been resolved 🙂

Your passport is only valid for 10 years from date of issue
If it was issued on 10 June 2012 it expires on 9 June 2022.
This is not quite correct. The the OPs case, they would need to enter by 9 June, but they could stay until 9 December and their passport would still be valid (3 months validity at date they would return back).

That's what I've been referring to in all of my heartache. It was issued June 2012 so is less than 10 years old before sailing.
I have tried to get a new passport but there are no appointments.
Sorry, you are right.
You meet both conditions (passport issued less than 10 years ago & passport in date more than 3 months after you are due back), therefore there should be no issue.
Also, doesn't your cruise end before 10 years is up?
Enjoy your cruise 🙂

There are two train lines between Edinburgh and London, known as West Coast and East Coast. The East Coast is the most popular, but it's unlikely (but not impossible) there will both have engineering works the same date. If you would much prefer to take the train, you might want to do more research. Having done both, you will save about 1-2 hours door to door flying vs taking the train.
LCY is a much nicer experience than LHR, as it's much smaller, and will involve much less walking from plane to entrance. There will be taxi's outside, or you can order an uber, which will require a short walk to the short stay car park.

Hello,
We have a afternoon flight out of FLL, and were hoping to find somewhere with deck chairs, showers and maybe something to eat (we will be flying long haul so no alcohol). Doesn't necessarily have to be on the beach.
We will have checked luggage with us, so they will need to be able to take care of our bags.
Does anyone have any experience of using anywhere?
Thanks,
Richard

We just came off today, so jealous. Enjoy!
So many tips, the one you're least likely to discover for yourself is to make sure you pop to the Eden Cafe for breakfast. Most people don't seem to know it exists, but the Bear Claws and Banana Bread we think were the best sweet breakfasts/snacks on the ship.

A couple of things from my experiences:
- I use a US TA with an 0800 number, so although I do almost everything by email, I can phone for free if I need to get hold of her in a hurry.
- I have a USD bank (Transferwise) account, and I convert on the day of the booking the full amount from GBP to USD, to lock in the rate. There is a small cost for this, but to me it's worth it.

Our last sailing, the last "group" for disembarking was at 09:00, so we sat in the buffet until then and made our own way off.
As a courtesy, we let our cabin steward know, as he was really busy that evening, and was keeping track of how many more bags he'd have to remove.

A couple of things from our experience:
- there is not a completely distinct vegetarian menu, there's some cross over with the normal menu options. We found that the vegetarian options on the normal menu were always better than the vegetarian menu specific options
- they can modify some of the dishes. One day I got a carbonara without the bacon, for example.

Wife (28) and I (33) were on Summit first week of December last year, and had a brilliant time!
We find the idea of climbing walls really manufactured, and would much rather be somewhere more chilled with good food and drinks.
We didn't really do much of the entertainment, we went to see a comedian, and we were about 30 years too young, but enjoyed some of the musicians around the ship, and otherwise just spoke to each other, staff or guests nearby (of all ages).
We tended to go to the pool late, once a lot of people had left to get ready for the early dinner sittings, and then just ate late, have a couple of drinks after dinner and go to bed relatively early to enjoy the next port day.

I know P&O cancelled all its cruises in the region this year due to security concerns.

I don't know if Celebrity have changed their schedule directly due to security or indirectly due to lack of bookings due to security concerns, but I suspect its related.

It may work for FB but the surf package can’t handle IG.
This is what we found. It would only allow uploads on Facebook (including Messenger) . It wouldn't allow uploads on Instagram or WhatsApp.

Club soda is definitely included in the classic package.
As a fellow Brit, it confused us the first time we cruised, as we never heard the term "Club Soda" before, but its what I would call soda water. Annoyingly we could never get 500ml bottles on board, either 330ml bottles or cans (depending on the bar), but we never felt the need to pay for Pellegrino.

Oh I am so sorry I don't want to get anyone into trouble!! I don't read "rules" hence tying to book with a US TA 🙂
Thanks all for the advice around money etc, and other sites. Just needing to book for the family for a post wedding party and I really don't want to make it cost more than it needs to so feeling the pressure. In effect I am becoming a TA for my family....maybe I should charge commission. once again thanks and happy cruising everyone
I'm also based in the UK and also use a large US based Cruise Travel Agency. One thing we like about our agency is that they have a with a UK toll free (0800) number, so although we do most things over email, I don't like email my credit card details, so phone my agent up to make a payment. It works really well. I suspect with that information using google and a bit of clicking you'll be able to find it...
One other piece of advise is that I have an internet account which holds USD, whenever I have spare money and the exchange rate looks good I transfer some money over to reduce the risk.

We were on Summit a couple of weeks ago, always left a laptop, ipad and wedding ring (my wife doesn't like taking it to the beach) on the desk, and nothing went missing.
Whichever you'll choose, it will be fine.

Edge Villa move up questions
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
For drinks, the stateroom card says the drinks package, and for WiFi, we could do stuff which is normally blocked. This was August last year though so it might have changed.
Also as stated above, anyone with retreat access can get premium drinks from the retreat lounge, and the Edge Villas are so close its basically a private bar. We barely touched our two bottles of liqour, we found we always wanted something else and just went to the retreat.
