  1. We are stopping over night on the Celebrity Edge. He has gotten back to me and he seems very nice. He is asking me where we would like to go and I have no idea. LOL .

I have always wanted to go to Bali but don't know what to do when I get there.

We have got 2 good days there. 8 am overnight till 5 pm the next day.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

  2. Hello fellow Canadians.  I emailed Dewa last night and as of yet I still have not heard from him.

What part of Canada are you from? WE are from BC .

I am not sure what time zone Dewa is in but. I am looking forward to hearing from him.

We will be going to Bali in November 2023.

Thank you for sharing your story

I don't know if miserable is quite the level, but you're basically going to be staying there and having dinner and that's that because there isn't anything else to do.  I'm with all of the above who say spring for the downtown hotel and enjoy Seattle if you have time.  It's a beautiful city with a lot to offer and in the scheme of things, what's another $100, which is the general price difference between a room down there and one at the airport.  Bottom line is you are not going to find a cheap room in Seattle, no matter where you stay.  My Radisson by the airport room for the night after the cruise is around $200.  My Inn at the Market room for the night before is about $300.  It's worth it to me.

What is My inn at the Market ?

HAL has refunded all monies for our Koningsdam SA March 2020.   Now we are waiting for FCC.   I am posting details here to provide information not to make anyone more annoyed at any delays.

Hi just wondering what the 100.00 separated was for , do you know ?. And I see that you got your port taxes back with the one payment. I thought that they are sending the taxes separably. Congrats on your refund.

Hello again everyone, and welcome to another one of my LIVE... photo blogs.

This time it's the Royal Princess to Princess Cays, St. Thomas and Sint Maarten. Since we've been to all of these ports several times, this will be a cruise of relaxation, and enjoying port days on the ship when most of the passengers are ashore. So basically, a 7-day cruise to nowhere! Let me know if there's any pics of the Royal you'd like to see, or anything else. I'll find out as much as I can about any changes after wetdock the week before last. (looking forward to the new beds!)

Starting our journey in the Maple Leaf Lounge at Pearson Airport, with some Cream of Potato & Leek soup and naan bread with hummus. The fog has rolled in here, and our flight is already delayed. We're flying into Palm Beach instead of Ft. Lauderdale in order to avoid Air Canada Rouge. The Palm Beach flight is still operated by mainline.

    Stay Tuned!

    Steve.

Can you tell me what is wrong with Air Canada Rouge?

  6. When there are boats, there are taxis :)

This is not to say the rank will necessarily be full at that hour, but since at any given time there are literally thousands of taxis roaming the city, they'll soon enough flock into the pier "if" there's demand for them. Most taxi drivers are associated to one of the many taxi associations in the city, and they are in constant radio contact with each other; if one picks up customers and sees a waiting line, he'll radio for other taxis to come soon enough.

How long does it take to get to Barcelona from the cruise port?

  7. Las Olas stays open way beyond 8:)......you will find MANY restaurants

open and will have no issues finding a place to eat.

And in my opinion, no way to walk from Las Olas to 17th Street.

Too far, too much traffic....I have stayed in both areas over the last 15

years...no way would I walk from one to the other.

Thank you so much for your response. It was a great help. Guess we will have to take a taxi to go and visit our freinds.

  8. Thank you everyone for their input on this forum.

    It was a great cruise.

Loved your blog Debbie and enjoyed meeting you and your sister. We were in C742 at the end of your hall. Loved meeting everyone that we did meet. You all were great.

This trip was on our bucket list and we loved it . Some bad experiences with organization but what the heck.

Hope to meet some of you again.

    Dianne and Bill
