We were on the Epic the same time as M2k. The previous year a transatlantic on the Jade. Epic was good, but much preferred the Jade. And, that was before the refurb on the Jade.

I'd say they performed almost everyday on the Cavern, but I can't tell you about, I had no time for them! anyway I highly recomend you the Epic Beatles and Howl at the Moon. AMAZING

From memory they are about halfway up the east coast

On Majorca the Caves of Drach up on the east coast nr Porto Cristo is excellent.

We haven't been for, many years, but good memories....

Majorca is an easy island to drive around.

Yeah, we were a bit like that last year on the NCL Jade transatlantic crossing.

Too many Sea Days to relax - Too many bars to relax in etc...........................

Actually, I have found that the liver from Amazon was better quality and more reliable............... LOL

The port of call was Palma Majorca, right? Just curious about the market with craft items--that's the kind of thing I look for. Can you say more about it and how to get there? I don't typically do beach days when I cruise, so wouldn't be heading that way to spend time on the beach, but if the craft market is good, I'd definitely make it a priority. :)

Palmanova is a beach resort approx 11.6 km from the Port in Palma de Mallorca.

Approx 14 minutes by cab/car.

Approx 30 minutes by bus.

Palmanova and Palma de Majorca are two different places.

I get their carryon rules. So be it.

 

As to not including water with the UBP is beyond my thought process. Oh well.

It's pretty illogical I agree, but I guess 'It Is What It Is'...

you can get coffee, tea and juice - but just basic. the fresh squeeze juices and the fancy coffees are not included.

OK. That's good.

I seem to remember that on the Jade last year when we had coffee and a liquor the liquor was included, but we had to charge the coffee.....

We drink Cafe Americano, so no probs. Excellent!

What's the problem?

We were on the Jade last year. We bought an initial Pack of bottles from NCL, then continued a two week cruise by just re-filling the bottles on-board. The water is drinkable... No problem.

I can understand the restriction on carry-on water/drinks etc, but it is strange that on a UBP you can drink almost anything except water. But............ them's the rules, and we know this upfront, so, what's the problem?

Do I remember that Coffee/Tea is also not included in the UBP from the bars etc?

We will be on the Epic in September.
