  1. Not sure if they have it on the Pearl too, but on Aria you can buy a number of internet packages based on data usage. There is an unlimited one for $89 and I think you can have up to two or three devices on the same code. This would allow you to still use things like WhatsApp and iMessage etc...

  2. I'm heading on a Pacific Island Hopper cruise in a fortnight, and saw my doctor today. She only recommended having an updated Tetanus needle (it was free anyway) and a Typhoid/Hep A needle if I want to be cautious. She said the risk is low and only really needed if you are going to be eating things like seafood and cooked meat. However since most of the cruise ships provide the food and/or the tour operators providing them would be reputable, it wouldn't be much to worry about.

  3. Latest news on this is that it is going to be fast-tracked for approval later this month. Port of Brisbane has submitted a “market-led proposal” to the Government for the project, which could see a new terminal funded by Carnival and Royal Caribbean within three years.
