We are looking for information on boat rentals for fishing
Or places to fish from a beach on land.....we thought it might be fun to do.
-
Does anyone have information on Fishing in Sabang? Either boat rentals that are priced fairly (in Phuket a boat was upwards of $1,000 thank you very much) or beach fishing?
-
Ditto Night Safari- great fun.

WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE CRUISE DIRECTORS AND WHY.? We have met so many greats over the years and would like to know who made your trips terrific......:halo:.....
-
This suggestion is also for the general population.

Our ship offered a city tour on the way to the airport and it worked out very well. Even though it was our 3rd time in Singapore, it was so easy we couldn’t resist. Seabourn had the luggage on the bus (had us check to see that it was ours) when we arrived so we avoided the hunt for baggage- check with your ship to see if it is offered.

Nothing is worthwhile in this town.

Make life easy and hire a driver. I recommend staying in Beijing for a week at least to see imp sites and absorb culture.
-
BE CAREFUL WITH PRIVATE OPERATORS. Firstly, the tour we booked, the operator didn’t show up....we shared with another couple, tg. We ended up getting a driver outside the gates, big mistake. Very seedy, a long arduous drive, humid and uncomfortable. We felt unsafe. Go with the ship on all Indonesian tours.

Fake pearls
Strike a match to the pearl...if the vendor freaks out it it is a clear sign that the pearls are fake.

We don’t always see the stEwardess so I always leave a note on the bed with any requests we might have as we leave the stateroom for the evening
:halo:
It could be anything from a notepad to a cookie-
We are always granted our wishes!

Go to Ritz Carlton... you must go to the night safari.....it’s a fun thing to do, different.

We booked SINGAPORE-CAPETOWN
JAN 16 2019 36 days
Very excited. Would love to get some dialogue going for these ports, etc!

Ponant does not compare to SEABOURN.......Ponant is a big zero all around.
-
We have been there 2x and never had a problem with lines- I think the problem that lies there in is mega ships- on Seabourn it is quite manageable. That said we have no interest in going again so maybe the ship will open the Marina!

I misspelled the tour company
The rip off company for Rhodes. Is ARCHAEOLOGOUS.COM
-
It was for RHODES
-
Tour ℅ ARCHEOLOGOUS.COM quoted €638 for 5 hours, 2 people. This outrageous fee is absolutely insane - they must think cruisers are either stupid, terrified or desperate, particularly when this town is a viable diy port......
Crazy.
-
What a hassle....we will stay onboard to relax and be catered too!!! Who needs lines and aggravation?
-
-
Why is SEABOURN waiting until Nov to alter smoking policy? It should begin IMMEDIATELY.
-
You will be fine. I applaud SEABOURN for not caving....we will embark August 27th with high hopes.
-
SEABOURN guests need to take action to insist that the main office reduces and limits smoking on these ships- if we don't band together nothing will happen. What are they thinking?

How is the Greece/Croatia cruise?
in Seabourn Cruise Line
Posted
Very restful and casual. We ve enjoyed this itinerary in both October and November because there were less crowds and the weather superb, often crisp- we were still able to spend most of the time outside, including the evenings. . Due to commitments in Israel in August of ‘16, oye so hot, our Greek itinerary was fun, but very very hot. That said, nothing was more horrid than the humidity in Indonesia (March ‘15), which was worse than hot yoga!
