  1. Very restful and casual. We ve enjoyed this itinerary in both October and November because there were less crowds and the weather superb, often crisp- we were still able to spend most of the time outside, including the evenings. . Due to commitments in Israel in August of ‘16, oye so hot, our Greek itinerary was fun, but very very hot. That said, nothing was more horrid than the humidity in Indonesia (March ‘15), which was worse than hot yoga!

  2. Does anyone have information on Fishing in Sabang? Either boat rentals that are priced fairly (in Phuket a boat was upwards of $1,000 thank you very much) or beach fishing?

  3. Our ship offered a city tour on the way to the airport and it worked out very well. Even though it was our 3rd time in Singapore, it was so easy we couldn’t resist. Seabourn had the luggage on the bus (had us check to see that it was ours) when we arrived so we avoided the hunt for baggage- check with your ship to see if it is offered.

  4. BE CAREFUL WITH PRIVATE OPERATORS. Firstly, the tour we booked, the operator didn’t show up....we shared with another couple, tg. We ended up getting a driver outside the gates, big mistake. Very seedy, a long arduous drive, humid and uncomfortable. We felt unsafe. Go with the ship on all Indonesian tours.

  5. Tour ℅ ARCHEOLOGOUS.COM quoted €638 for 5 hours, 2 people. This outrageous fee is absolutely insane - they must think cruisers are either stupid, terrified or desperate, particularly when this town is a viable diy port......

    Crazy.
