Thanks OlsSalt. Anybody else on whether the On Demand services are yet available on the Zuiderdam?

My understanding is that during the last 2015 drydock in Italy there were planned upgrades that never were implemented as an Italian labor strike took place at the same time.
One example would be the new flat-screen TV's and new TV / On Demand entertainment system that, to the best of my current understanding, has to date not been put in place.
Someone made reference to BBKing's Blues Club, so it sounds like that is up and running now?
Can anyone who's sailed on the Zuiderdam update on the above two points?
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply. Altough I assume that nothing has changed since your sailing, does anyone else have any more recent experience?
Thanks

We were on the Nieuw Amsterdam last October, and were pleasantly surprised with the new, larger flat-screen TV's and the free movies & other programs that were available on demand. The on demand system is my main focus here, but I presume that it would come along with more modern TV installations.
This simple perk has been long overdue, in my opinion.
Does anyone know if this update has yet been made to the Zuiderdam? We're on that ship this fall, and would find it a disappointment if that feature hasn't yet been incorporated. I do know that the last drydock schedule was impeded by a labor strike.
On a more general basis, can anyone list the exact updates that will be in place on the Zuiderdam by this September? The promotional info from HAL on updates is somewhat general and vague.
Thanks

Just FYI for anyone who may not be aware of this technique, for such times as you are shooting handheld in low light and need higher ISO's, it can work very well to shoot a burst of anywhere from 8 to 24 images, and stack, align and average them in post.
This eliminates most of the high ISO noise, and often produces cleaner results with less loss of fine detail compared to noise reduction software. You pretty much need to be using Photoshop though. If there are other programs that can do this, I'm not aware of them.
There is also a variation on this approach whereby you can also increase effective file size and (arguably) spatial resolution, but perhaps a topic for another time.
