On the Star I was able to upgrade when I logged in. Actually I waited in line at the Internet desk only to be told to do it through my device.

Last week the earliest available luggage tag that wasn’t exclusive was 8:10 am. Unfortunately that was the week the lady jumped off the boat so I am unsure if it is really that early. And yes it was available on our sea day (Friday) after 6 pm on deck 7 by guest services.

Also where are the smoking areas now?

Deck 7 port side, the whole outside area allows smoking. Also Deck 12 port side, there are a few smoking tables near Topsiders.

The gossip I had heard on the boat before we got into Venice was that drinking was definitely involved and it was all on the CCTV. Hopefully the real story comes out. Truly impressed that she was able to survive 10 hours in the water. We arrived around 2:30 but did not get off the boat until about 5 or 5:30 as the Italian police came on the boat to do an investigation and interrogate her friends and family.

Good news: the passenger was found alive, thankfully!

We received the announcement that there was a passenger overboard a little past 6 in the morning, that it occurred overnight and we had returned to the location for search and rescue. Around 8 the captain notified us that he was suspending the search and rescue and heading back to Venice, but the Croatian coast guard would take over. Around 11-12 we received the good news that the passenger was found alive and flown to Croatia to receive treatment. It is now almost 2 but we are finally arriving in Venice.

On the Greek Isles cruise and we were due to disembark in Venice today. Captain Matthias notified us early this morning that someone went overboard overnight and we have been searching since then. Praying for a good outcome.

I was also on this cruise! Definitely an awesome experience. I'm glad I chose Allure of the Seas for my first cruise ever.
