  1. New to this bidding thing. We placed our bids for our sailing in Feb for ocean and balcony. Saw the balcony price dropped. It'll be $300 for us to upgrade from interior to the balcony. We bid $200 for the balcony. anyone have success with getting a "lower" bid accepted? When do they notify you? Or should I go ahead and call and upgrade?

  2. Hi friends. I understand Blue Lagoon will tell you to book through the ship when on a cruise due to their no compete clause. However, has anyone just said they're staying on the island & done this on their own? We are looking at the sea lion excursion. We are in port 12-7pm. The times for the excursion are 1:30 and 3:30 that we are looking at.

Question is, has anyone done this and did you get any extra time to explore the Lagoon?

  3. If you haven't already gone, do the dolphins in Cozumel. You can take a taxi to the park. It's called Chankanub State Park. you can book direct through the site for much cheaper than anywhere else.

  4. Hi!

We will be in Belize next week and have booked cave tubing with cavetubing.bz. They note you can rent the water shoes for $3. Does anyone know if you wear these during the hike part too? Thanks in advance.

  5. My husband and I will be on the NCL Star in a couple weeks. We want to do ruins & beach. Is there a tour that does both? We will be in port 9am-5pm. Thanks in advance!

  6. We are looking at sailing on this ship the last week in March. My husband is 35 and I am 28. We've never cruised Celebrity before, just Carnival. I know Carnival is more party central and it's spring break season which we want to avoid the crazy party crowd. I've heard that Celebrity the average age is 40-50ish. Is this accurate? We don't mind, but don't want to feel out of place or anything! :)

  7. Hi all,

Looking at NCL Pearl through Alaska in May. Which choice is the best out of the 4? We are thinking beverages, speciality dining, or shore excursion credit. Which one is the best value? We do drink wine, beer, and mixed drinks however maybe would have 4-5/day/person on sea days and 2-3/day/per person on port days.

Does the speciality dining credit have any restrictions? I saw for a 7 day cruise it's 4 credits per person but wasn't sure if that meant we could go to a speciality dining restaurant 4 different occasions to any of them?

    Thanks in advance!

  8. Hi!

My husband and I are planning a cruise to Alaska in May/June of 2016. We have cruised in the past on Carnival. We definitely have chosen the Glacier Bay itinerary and our dates are flexible. Round trip out of Seattle.

The questions we have are about which cruise line or which ship is the best for us. I am 28 and he is 35. We have no children traveling with us and this is a once in a life time trip. Also, if a balcony is worth the money or if a ocean view works just as well. We have only had ocean view rooms on previous cruises which went to Bahamas and Caribbean.

Which cruise line do you recommend? We have considered Carnival, Holland America, Princess, and Norweign.

    Thank you in advance!
