  1. Hello, my girlfriend, parents, and I will be cruising to Nassau on the Harmony of the Seas for spring break pretty soon. I am looking for an excursion where I could get some good snorkeling in. I have seen a few on the RC website but I was wondering which was the best. If anyone has had a good experience, please advise. Thank you. :classic_biggrin:

  2. Hello, I have a question regarding Royal Caribbean's "Crown and Anchor" society. I currently have 25 cruise points, and I will be sailing on a nine day trip on the Harmony this spring break. I was wondering if I will be achieving platinum status on this cruise. Or will they give it to me after I go on this cruise? Also, if I do get Platinum status on this cruise... what are some of the significant benefits that really made a difference? Please advise. Thank you. :classic_biggrin:

Kevin - Legend. But I’m mainly looking for general advice. For example, are unlimited soda, coffee, and water (not bottled) included? Is there unlimited ice cream included? How is the breakfast buffet? What is the set dinner times? Is there anything that I must purchase from Carnival that is not included?

Unlimited soda packages will be up charges. Coffee and water is free at the buffet during all meals. There are unlimited soft serve machines on all Carnival Cruise Lines ships. The breakfast buffet is not very good, I preferred to have breakfast in the main dining room whenever I could to try to get something decent. The set dining times are early (6:00PM), and late (8:00PM). There are plenty of things you will likely purchase on the ship, alcohol, beverage packages, t-shirts, specialty dining... it really depends on what it is you're looking to get out of your vacation. Everything is pretty expensive too, considering that you are on a ship and you have no other option of where to purchase these things.

  4. I have a had quite a few balconies on Carnival, but only one suite. The suite was nice because of the tub, I didn't use it personally but the option was nice. There were also double sinks in the bathroom if I'm not mistaken. That was great. The larger balcony is nice as well. They give you a lounger like one you would find at the pool out there, one that you can lay on, that is really nice. Those are the only things that really seemed to stand out to me. I have been in all balcony rooms after being in a suite and I have never had a problem. If those few things are worth it to you for the price I would go for it.

  5. Hello, I just booked my first cruise on Royal Caribbean since 2011, I sailed on the Freedom in 2010 and the Monarch in 2011. Those are the only Royal Caribbean cruises I have done. I am booked on the Harmony of the Seas for March 29th, 2019. Is there anything in particular that I should look forward to on this ship? Anything I should plan on checking out. Please let me know. Thanks!
