My boyfriend in I (in our early 30's) are planning a Caribbean cruise for January and wanted to seek some advice regarding which cruise to book. Last year we took the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas to St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and Nassau and absolutely loved it. Our hope was that we could do it again with a different itinerary but aren't a huge fan of the Western Caribbean itinerary (Haiti, Cozumel, and Jamaica) as their only other route at that time of year. Mainly, what we look for in a cruise is lots of entertainment and late night drink/mingling options, good food, and having at least some other people in our age bracket. We are purposely not going during winter holidays or spring break to avoid being surrounded by children. We are considering Norwegian's Epic or Getaway but were curious about other people's opinions. Any advice about what would be a comparable cruise ship to the Oasis of the Seas (in terms of size, entertainment, food, age groups etc.) would be greatly appreciated!

My boyfriend and I will be going on a cruise to Nassau, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas next week on RC's Oasis of the Seas. We were just pondering whether it is best to book the (very inflated priced) excursions through the RC website, book private tours beforehand independently, or wait until we get off the ship to book. I've been told mixed things about whether tour operators wait at ports to recruit new customers. On the one hand, waiting until the day of seems beneficial as we don't know what the weather will be like and it would likely save a lot of money from what I've heard. Of course, we don't want to be left stranded with nothing to do if we wing it like this. If anyone has personal knowledge of this, I would really appreciate your advice! Thanks!

My boyfriend and I will be stopping in Nassau, St Maarten, and St Thomas next week and my boyfriend really wants to do a ATV tour in St. Maarten. Does anyone have any recommendations about which is the best company to go with for this? Has anyone gone with Twin Island Excursions before? They seem to have pretty good reviews on Trip Advisor but wanted to hear some personal experiences. I'm feeling a bit weary after reading some of the mixed reviews for the company with the stmartencruiseexcursions website (I forget what the company is called). Any help would be much appreciated!
