Wasn't the final show great. Seeing all their designs going down the runway was just wonderful.

I'm not sure what everyone was talking about Diana for...she did a lot of work to pull Chloe's 13th outfit together. Did I miss something?

I have to say I thought they were going to give it to Daniel but I'm happy to see Chloe get the opportunity. She is talented. I keep thinking about the "flower dress" and how much detail and time she put into that outfit.

Santino did very much tone down his designs.

Daniel has a good sense of style but his not seeing the mistakes on his finishes was a bit odd. Did you catch his model tripping over her dress?

What happened there?

Oh that Santino is such a hoot. Even after he realizes what he says can hurt someone he makes another comment about Chloe's collection looking like a couch coming at him.

Saw the reunion show and what a waste of time. No real value add to the overall show content.

They could have waited till the very end of the series to do a "what are they doing now" type of interview with each of the contestants, ie one-on-one and show some of the work they are doing now (if they are doing anything) rather than hearing them tear down each other again.

Is it me or did Kara's collection look mismatched? And what was it that each of her models were wearing on their heads?

Daniel, Chloe and Santino all did a nice job but I think that Daniel's was very "commercial".

Didn't watch the show last night but will catch up on the rerun this weekend.

. You Daniel comment really surprises me. I thought he was nicer than that! Wow.

So did I but I guess the pressure is on and the kid gloves are off.

Okay, I'm going to ruin it for those who didn't watch it yet but it didn't surprise me that Kara got the "good-bye" kiss. Although her sewing was sometimes good, she seemed to be disorganized in her selection of materials, design, etc.

What I really found annoying was Daniel and his assumption that because Chloe already was established in her business that Chloe should be the one chosen to leave. :mad: What I think Daniel was more afraid of was that Chloe may win the competition and out shine him at fashion week but we shall see. And what about the other two also choosing to eliminate Chloe? Good strategy to try to eliminate the "greater threat" in the competition but it didn't work.

Chloe: What in the world possessed her to design that evening gown?

Did she have a "melt down" on this episode?

Santino: Got to love the guy for sticking to his design inspiration. He did go over the top but hey, he took a risk and is still in the running. Can't wait to see what he does for fashion week.

Can't understand why Austin was at the dinner meeting. He wasn't in the final three last season. Loved Jay's comment to Santino.

I have to wonder between Kara and Santino who actually designed Santino's outfit? I wouldn't have given Kara credit for the design or fabric choices but she did a good job of sewing...

Chloe's outfit was a perfect fit for Nick but if Nick hadn't helped her would it have looked as good?

Nick's idea was good just the wrong fabric and it did look a mess no matter how much he pressed it. Santino noticed what the downside was well before Tim said something. Makes you wonder who has the eye for design in the group.

Santino's idea was good but perhaps not a good fit for Kara. If he had his other model I think he would have pulled it off. I disagree with Nina that it wasn't "woman friendly". Not a good choice for Kara but for a slimmer person perhaps it would be.

Daniel: Disappointing but hey, you can't be right all the time.

I LOVE THIS SHOW. no one i knows watches it and they all think i may be a little nutzy!!

 

i like nick, but he will probably be the next to go unless he really blows it out this week.

 

santino...OMG he is very entertaining but i have never really liked his designs.

Hahaha. It did look like a door mat but anything goes in fashion.;)

Poor Andrae...I thought he would last at least one more round.

The show was one of the best so far and I thought that Daniel, Chloe and Kara really did a wonderful job. I think the judges had a hard time but you can see that Michael is already a fan of Daniels.

Santino is still hanging in there and the dress he did was not bad just different. I love his imitation of Tim.

Nick- well......what can I say. Bad fit? I was wondering when his model came down the runway whether she was doing to be able to stay in that top he made.:eek:

Okay, now I understand why he referred to her legs as gumby,ie long legs.

Perhaps Santino will surprise us all in the next episode? I didn't think his dress was really all that bad but have to say I really like what Andre (sp?)did better than Daniels but hey, they were both creative as was Chloe.

Nick is too tempermental. What would happen if a model became ill and he had to use another one? Would he sulk and want to give up on his collection?

Sorry for the lack of knowledge but what is a "gumby"?

In the first 10 minutes of the show you got the feeling they were going to oust her. The walkoff I think contributed to her departure. Just my opinion.

I missed the show where the models were assigned to the designers...how did Rachel end up with Zulema? And Tim's comment only made me wonder how in the world Rachel was part of the selection process if she couldn't walk?

I finally got to watch it and what in the world was Santino thinking?

If he threw that outfit in the ashes, I am sure it would not rise again.

I do think the judges were baiting him to see if he had toned down his comments but if you think about it, aren't they trying to control his creativity(if you can call it that)?

Chloe's outfit was nice and Zulema's was okay but what if they had done Zulema's outfit in the color Chloe choose? Just my opinion but wouldn't someone as petite as Sasha who wears white on ice look like a snowball skating around the rink?

Oh well, have to wait till next week and see who leaves the group...

Sounds like all the designers are still on an uphill battle. Can't wait to see the part about Santino...:D

Okay, how in the world does Santino survive? His and Nicks outfit design was a disaster. I think they wanted to get rid of Santino (after his comment to Kors) but that would mean letting Nick go too.

Chloe and Emmetts outfit was on target (didn't Emmett come up with the design?) and I really thought they had nailed it but alas Daniel and Mr.Crybaby took away the honors.

Finally able to watch the show this weekend as I missed it on Wednesday night...

I think they made the right choice with Guadalaupe(sp?) being let go. Her dress design was a disaster.:eek:

Do you really think that Nicky Hilton will wear Santino's dress? It was all ruffly and what about that roping....it looks like the stuff I use for tiebacks for the drapes. Sorry, but still not convinced this is the new wave of what's to come in fashion design.

Would love to see what they would design for "cruises".:p

I too watch the program. I just love to see what they come up with for the different challenges. I have to admit, some of the designs look familiar, ie copies from past designers.

Can't wait to see who drops out next....
