Did you book this the same way as the other cruises? Have you tried logging into the app using the information for another person on the reservation to see if it shows up for them.

Have seen this happen when there was an error in entering the passenger information. If it does not completely match the Princess system will think that it is a new user and assign a new Captain's Circle Number. In that case it will not show up on the App because it thinks that it is owned by someone else.

Yep, we booked this through our Princess vacation planner

It sometimes takes more than a few days.  What ship?  If it’s the Sun or Star, it takes a little longer.

They are still programming the MDR options on cruises, seems to affect a lot of aspects on the App.

As mentioned by @Rick&Jeannie if you see it on the website, you’re good!😊

I think the only explanation is IT.  SMH

    Majestic Princess

    Damn IT people! 😡

Oh wait, that's what I do for a living 🙂

Well, I don't know what "urgent situation number" means...

Just to absolutely clarify; all of your bookings show up on the website and all but one show up on the app...and it has been over a week since you booked?

How many actually show on the app?  I've heard (no positive proof...heard this here on CC) that the app can only show so many cruises.  There *supposedly* is a limitation as to how many it can track.

In my opinion...as long as it shows up on the website (cruise personalizer) then you're good to go.  You should make sure that the app is up to date...maybe even uninstall/re-install...but again, if it shows on the website you are booked.

Correct - all cruises but one show up.  I see 3 in the app and have 4 booked.

And I'm not worried about it, I see it on the website do I'm almost 2 years away before I need to be concerned about it not showing up. I'm just curious.

  4. Booked a 2026 British Isles cruise last week. It didn't show up in the app with our other cruises right away but I figured it would after a day or two but it hasn't. I tried to add it manually with the booking number I can see when I log into princess.com but the app says it can't find that booking number.

Is it because the cruise is 25 months out? Some other reason?

Before Princess changed the way the dining was set up, you had to be Elite or fully paid to make reservations.

That wasn't the case for us. We're one step below Elite and have been able to book our dining well in advance of final payment. In fact, we have a cruise booked for 2025 that we had already booked our dining on months ago. The reservations are gone now but we had them at one point before this new process.

  6. Paid off our Sun Princess cruise for the fall and I was able to set up our dining for the cruise - same time every night and they put us in the Horizons Dining room. We also have a cruise booked for February 2025 which hasn't been fully paid yet. A few months ago, before the dining changes, I had set up dining there as well but the changes nullified our choices. When I tried to re-select our dining on that ship, I was not able to.

So does the cruise need to be paid in full before I can select our dining options for the week?

The laundry is $3 for wash and dry and $1.50 for detergent.   You use your medallion to get tokens for machines.   Quicker and cheaper then sending it out

Never thought I'd be bothered doing laundry on a ship but doing up a load or two on a last sea day takes little time and saves us having to do that much laundry when we get home.

I'm sorry, I misread the original question. And substituted Port  Everglades  (Fort Lauderdale) for Port Canaveral.

So, BrightLine would be of no use at all.

No worries - I learned about the BrightLine today. I may use that some day

  9. Just came off the Sky (great cruise - I'll eventually do a review) and purchased two $100 FCC, one for me and one for my wife. I never really looked into these before so I'm a little unsure how they work. My wife and I will be booking another cruise shortly but when we do, do  I use only one of these or are both required to purchase a cruise for the two of us?

    tks in advance

In fact, there is not much to be concerned about if a person has done nothing with the app as long as they have their ID and a paid up cruise.

yep, kinda what I was thinking at the time this first came up.

But how would you react if the Premium package went up 67% with very little notice?

Oh, dont think for a minute that once they've got everyone, or almost everyone, bamboozled into the Premium package that they won't start cranking that up. We don't drink a whole lot, maybe a couple drinks a day for each of us, so they can up the prices of those packages all they like. I bring two bottles of wine on, pre-purchase a pint of whiskey to be delivered to the room and then purchase anything else I want when I buy it. Our largest expenditure on board is probably specialty coffees. Which is a sore point for me since they removed the coffee cards - another move to get people to buy into one of the packages.

    It’s only like a 65% price increase!!

Thank you Princess. You just saved me $71CAD in our upcoming 3 cruises. We currently get it for 50% off and $71 a week is worth it but no way I’m giving you $118 for the week. Nope. I’ll take that $71 and spend it at a restaurant at one of the stops.

credit can go back to cancelled cards..i do it all the time. if you still do business with that bank, they just transfer it to your account or another cc. if no more business, they mail you a check

Oh, didn't know that. We're with the same bank so it should go through then I guess.

Update: Actually, I just checked and the refund is there. I'll use it for our Victor Bodden tour now.

    tks

  14. We're sailing on the Sky in under two weeks. We were supposed to dock in Mahogany Bay but as I suspected may happen, they moved us to Coxen Hole. Kinda irked me tbh - they've done this to the Regal a couple of times already so they've known that booking the Sky into MB was never going to be an option but they left it there until last week when suddenly it became Coxen Hole. Its not the move that irks me, I get that it happens, but the late timing of it, especially since it looked like it would happen as it did on the Regal.

I get that itineraries change, all fine and dandy, but is it asking too much for you to put the excursions up? We'll be there two weeks from today, at least I think we will be. Sure would be nice to see some excursions to book. I've already paid for one excursion in MB that needs to be refunded. I don't want to book an independent tour and put a deposit down to find out that Princess decided to change their minds again.

C'mon Princess. Get your poop in a group and get the excursions up so I can at least plan.
