Is Malecon21 day pass only or can you gain access the beach and loungers by buying food and drinks?

Malecon21 is only walk-in if you sit in the lounge/ bar area across the road otherwise minimum cover charge.i thought Nohoch was only AI although like Jaimies they may do PAYG if they aren’t full. Sulumar is probably still walk-in but it rained when we were there and I don’t remember if they have loungers or only tables and chairs? I think Machos has walk-ins and passes. Some distance further Chunky Monkey but haven’t been there. They all have websites i believe.
Thanks for the reply. After research, We may just hang around one of the pools at the cruise port since the non AI options seem not so not AI except for the Krazy Lobster

Does anyone have recommendations for a non all inclusive beach option besides Krazy Lobster? We did Krazy Lobster last year and was not overly impressive (especially with the food).

Has anyone been to Jaime’s recently? Comments?

My wife and I will be in Cozumel in November and can't decide between Mr. Sanchos and Nachi Cocom for the day. Any recent visits with comments?

Should be fine, the balcony will be a little larger, sound wise both cabins will be about the same since you have cabins above and below you. Like I said earlier life boat covers aren't an issue in less you plan on bringing a fishing pole and fishing off your balcony.
Deck 7 Forward Balconies aren't as private though as the one you had........You could make some nice friends with your neighbors who are standing at the railing.
Post # 2 in the thread below.
Thanks for the info and the picture.

I think you might have been better off keeping what you had, the only obstruction you had was looking straight down along side the ship to the ocean.
The deck 7 midship obstructions is the top of the lifeboat covers which are just a little below the floor of your balcony. You could have looked straight out from your balcony and seen ALOT of ocean.
We like being on the back of the ship to because Windjammer and the Dining Rooms, Pools(mid ship) are below your cabin in the aft section.
Only things up front where your new cabins are is the spa/gym and the theatre for shows. (Not into working out while on vacation)
According to the agent I spoke to, the new cabin has a bigger balcony, there are no life boat obstructions and much quieter. Hope he knew what he was talking about.

What's wrong with the location where you were assigned?
I was assigned Cabin 7644 which is an obstructed view. Called customer service and was able to get moved to Cabin 7016 which seems to be a much much better cabin.

We were just issued our GTY Balcony cabin on the Radiance of the Seas and it’s a category 3D. When requesting to get reassigned to a different room, does the reassigned room have to be in the same category?
Also, what is the category ranking? Is a 1B, 2B or 3B a higher or lower category (that’s all the balcony categories that’s left).

If no one has mentioned it, you can modify or change your bid anytime before 2 hours prior to departure.
Was just able to figure out my GTY Balcony on Radiance of the Seas cruise using the bar code trick and not sure I like the location (Cabin 7644). May have to up my bid or ask to be relocated in the same category.

So the cabin number is the last four digits of the bar code (4 numbers after the dash)?

Literally anytime between now and embarkation day.
You can use the barcode trick to find out early (usually). Either add your set sail pass in the app to your Apple wallet (if you use an iPhone) or scan the barcode. Numbers will appear below the barcode. The numbers to the right of the dash are your cabin.
How accurate in identifying the cabin number is the bar code trick?

WE got our denial from the loyalty ambassador well after we set sail 2 weeks ago on Grandeur.
I should have done my research before putting in a bid. I bid the minimum on a suite and grand suite. It would be a bummer to miss out on some of the Suite Perks if they were to accept after the ship had sailed.

I just did a Royal Up Request for a November 26 departure. When do they normally notify you if your request was accepted?

I know I've read here that if you have a suite, you can actually arrive at the port up to one hour prior to your assigned time. Is this true if you are in a Junior Suite?
What’s the advantages/Perks of a Junior Suite vs a Balcony Cabin?
-
I am cruising on the Radiance of Seas and am currently booked in a GTY Balcony. Is it worth upgrading to a Junior Suite for $300 total? It’s just me and my wife.

We took a balcony guaranty on our recent Explorer cruise and our cruise showed balconies being sold out several months before the cruise. We received our assignment early on and were very happy with the one we got.
However, someone on our roll call who also booked a balcony guaranty was assigned a panoramic ocean view cabin as there were no more balconies available right before the cruise. She had the option of cruising in that cabin with a price adjustment or canceling and getting a refund.
Holy Cow!! It better be a huge price adjustment or on board credit.

I am booked on a cruise on the Radiance of the Seas for a GTY Balcony room in November and the Balocony Rooms are sold out. I assume that they hold back rooms. Am I correct?

Has anyone ever had the Deluxe Drink Package sell out on the cruise? The Deluxe Drink Package is showing as sold out for my cruise.

what's the benefit of earliest check in?
I believe you get to board the ship sooner and start using some of the amenities.

Does anyone know what time of the day the 45 day check in time starts?
