My kids didn’t want to leave kids club, they both had a great time and we had some relaxation time as well, without feeling guilty as they genuinely didn’t miss us in the slightest!
I’d sign him up and see how it goes, if he’s signed up and doesn’t go nothing is lost.
what are your wife’s worries?

Nothing compared to some of these but we’ve been assisted by fellow passengers a few times furiously pressing the illuminated advertising screens trying to get route/activities information.
To be fair they were very close to each other!

Thanks for all the replies, I’m starting to get to packing panic mode so it’s so helpful to be able to ask these things here!

Hi,
I’ve read a few things recently about not being able to take open drinks on and off the ship.
When we go on our med cruise next month I was hoping to take a double walled reusable water bottle to decant water into to keep it colder for longer (perhaps add ice too). Also I would prefer to take one larger bottle for the family instead of everyone having to carry a small one.
Is this allowed?
Sorry if it’s a stupid question but I don’t want to waste money to not be able to use something!

Thanks for the replies, I seemed to recall they did but then I was worried I was remembering somewhere else!
Interesting sidebar... I have been to England 3x, but only on the last visit did I find out that washcloths aren't a thing in England.
It took asking about 10 people before an older lady said "HE MEANS A FACE FLANNEL" and the front desk of the hotel said "No, we don't have those."
WHAT ON EARTH??
We had 4 towels in the room. A towel for the floor, two bath towels, and a hand towel.
I nearly just put flannel but then I felt that that means something else in America (a piece of clothing?) so had to try and remember what Americans would call them!
(And my main reason for worrying was to cover my child’s eyes while I wash his hair, not even washing with them, the British person that I am lol)

Just having a forgetful time and writing my packing list- are washcloths/flannels included in the range of towels in the bathroom?
Navigator of the seas if that makes a difference.
Thanks!

This has been on my mind too- my husband has some 3/4 length shorts, they just cover the knees.
Should we just play it safe and get him some lightweight trousers for this day?

To explain my tone
It’s as secure as school in my opinion and the staff are very well educated (I think they need a childcare/teaching degree to be employed in kids club).
The children are engaged in activities so not just wandering and there is a gate that they have to be buzzed out of (after being signed out by an agreed signature).
They do on occasion go for a walk/game around the ship but were well looked after (again, the same kind of supervision as a school trip might have). And if that bit is uncomfortable for your wife check whether they’ll be staying onsite that session and if not then don’t leave him.
Edit- sorry that sounds a bit bossy, not meaning to, just saying my experiences!
