  1. WE are Canadian. We just received our Chinese Visa in our passport.  We did not use CIBT, they said that it could not be done till December ( we are booked on the 73 day South America/Antarctica Cruise in October).  After application on line, we were given a date to go to the Chinese Visa place in downtown Toronto and fingerprinted and they  took the fee for the visa.  We were given a date to return ( 5 days later) and the Chinese Visa was in our passport good for up to 3 years.  You can get the visa now by forgoing the CIBT.

  2. Can anyone give me advice on how, when and where to apply for an India Visa?. We are Canadian. We are sailing in October for the 73 -day South America/ Antarctica cruise. We will not be home till December 19th. Can we apply on line for the Visa for India now? If not, will we have enough time when we return mid December to get the visa?

  3. My husband and I are boarding the world voyage and we are having trouble obtaining the Chinese Visa since he is a lecturer on board and does not receive a booking # till a week before the voyage.  We went to the Chinese consulate here in Toronto, Ontario Canada and they said no visa till we get a booking #, that only gives us 10 or less days till our cruise is that enough time to obtain a visa??
