She will be getting the upgraded internet.

I will be on the Sunshine on Dec 1st. On previous Sunshine cruises the internet has not been very good. I sent John Heald a message this afternoon and asked if Sunshine is getting the upgraded internet during her drydock in October, like the Horizon has. He messaged back and said yes her internet will be upgraded to the new internet.

Hopefully they will add the new higher speed internet. All of the ships are supposed to be upgraded. I will be on her December 1st.

$9186.16 on a 68 cent pull last April on the Sunshine. They wanted me to take it in cash, but we ended up agreeing I would take $1186.16 in cash and they would sent me a check for the balance which I received 7 days after the cruise by FedEx.

I missed him by one week last December and I will be getting on the ship as he gets off this Saturday. Maybe someday I will be able to cruise with him.

The WOK and Italian restaurant are also the omelet stations in the mornings. I love the Havana bar area. I hope it's not too crowded in December.

New Premiere offers came out this morning. I didn't see anything that interested me at this point. I will just stick with my Magic cruise the end of this month and the Sunshine in December.

I understand the disappointment in missing your cruise and I could be facing the same thing in September. The latest update is saying this will be catastrophic for the people in South Texas who are about to loose everything they have. My prayers are with them.

If you are thinking about getting on the road and trying to get closer to the port, be aware that there will be a large amount of people moving to the north to get out of harms way. Hotels and motels will be full.

New Carnival Premiere offers came out today!

One ship you might want to think about in the future is the Sunshine. I was on her for the first time this past April. The first day I told myself that I was going to hate that cruise. That all changed the second day. The crowds were much better and I found a couple of spots where I spent a lot of time.

The Serenity deck partially covers three separate decks and has it's own pool. And then the rear of the Lido deck is all enclosed. This is the Havana Bar area. It was never crowded at all. I enjoyed spending time there eating several of my meals and getting quiet time watching the wake at the rear of the ship in the air conditioning. Just a little something to consider on future cruises.

Also I love the Magic. I smiled the entire week. I just couldn't help myself.

Getting to MCO on time is one thing, but the lines for Southwest are extremely long.

Also the Italian restaurant and Jiji's are located back there. Lunch is free at both and there are omelette stations for breakfast. It is never crowded.

I too am a solo cruiser. I was on the Magic for a 7 day cruise Dec of 16 and a five day cruise last month on the Sunshine. I thoroughly enjoyed myself on both.. I found all ages on both even though the April cruise was during spring break. My preferred cabin is on the lido deck balcony. I am scheduled on the Magic again at the end of September.

I was on the Carnival Sunshine two weeks ago and playing a penny machine at 68 cents a spin. I hit the grand jackpot in the amount of $9187.06. I was in total shock because I too think the slots are tight on the ships. The next night another woman hit a jackpot of $4500.00.

It was an amazing evening.

The Italian restaurant is free everyday for lunch between 11am and 2pm.

I love staying in a balcony on the Lido deck. In December on the Magic I was in 10274 and will be in 10266 in September. If you want to grab some food and go back to your balcony to eat, it is very convenient. I never had a problem with noise. Enjoy!!

One week ago tonight on the Sunshine I hit on Gold Stacks penny slot machine for $9,187.06. It was a big thrill. I was spending 68 cents per spin. I guess it just shows that when they are ready to pop, the person sitting there reaps the benefits.

Seems like the Premier offers aren't as cheap as they used to be.... no real bargains any more. Need a Pack and Play offer

My bounce back from December is a better deal even considering the casino cash for the Premiere.

Received a Premiere cruise offer today. It has to be booked by April 5th and it has cruises into September.

It did state that if you get at least 7500 points on a Premiere cruise in 2017 you will be invited to an Ultra Premiere cruise in 2017.

I just received the email for my April 2nd cruise on the Sunshine this morning. It says the port opens at 11am but boarding will not begin until approximately 12:30pm.

I guess the Sunshine leaves port later. When I was on the Magic last month she was still sitting there when we left.

I was able to go online and pick my time. It is in 30 minute increments starting at 11am for the Sunshine.

This happened to me sailing on the Magic two weeks ago. When I checked in I was asked about the passenger sailing with me and I told them my sister had cancelled out on me. Within a few days the port fees and taxes had been credited to my credit card. I went to the atrium bar when I got on the ship and bought the Cheers package without any problems.

Enjoy your cruise. This was my first solo and I loved it!

I just booked a casino bounce back this evening for the 5 day Bahama cruise on the Sunshine April 2nd. The first thing I did after booking was to see if FTTF was available and it was. I grabbed it right away.

I just got off the Magic yesterday and I must say it's only because they said I had to leave so someone else could have my cabin.
