  1. Nice app security. Ended up in some nut cases chat with no way to leave. People must be bored today with the rainy weather.
  2. So not much else happened last night. I spent the evening in the casino. I took a break to meet up with everyone in Vintages. We enjoyed it. Today is our last sea day. I’m sure we won’t do much. We have already done a trivia this morning. We hit playmakers for more food and a burger was ordered. I should have taken a pic. This looked nothing like what I was served earlier in the week. It was declared delicious. it is overcast so far today. The captain just said we are near Turks & Caicos. There is talk of mini golf and I’m sure the afternoon will include more trivia.
  3. We were a pretty dull group today. We did get off the ship and shop a little in the port. We did briefly discuss taking a taxi downtown but that was a no go. It rained briefly but then cleared up and the weather was nice for strolling. We got back on the ship and enjoyed a few trivia’s. The guys enjoyed a game of ping pong. We stopped into loco fresh for a little food then went to playmakers for a little more food. Tonight is our 2nd CP 150 reservation and it has been decided to cancel it. I managed to break two nails this morning. I went into the spa around 2 to see what my chances of getting a shellac manicure in the next 24 hours. They were able to take me right away. I was quoted $79. but when she rung me up she said I get a 20% discount. It ended up being about $75 after gratuity.
  4. So a few things about Izumi pricing. We have the UDP but still had to pay $15 up charge per person to eat there. We were told any sushi we ordered at the Hibachi we would have to pay for. We didn’t seem to have any entree restrictions. You pick 2 meats and they can be anything including double lobster.
  5. Good Morning from St Thomas. We rolled in at about 6 am. It is another beautiful day with perfect weather. I’m going to get the family up in a few to head to breakfast. I’m not sure what we are doing today. We had talked about going to the beach. We will see. no more sake for me.
  6. So clearly these were all signs that I should just go to bed. I think the others hit playmakers to watch a game. See y’all in St Thomas tomorrow.
  7. Walked in to watch Aeromyth for a few minutes. I’ll save my family from that torture. It wasn’t good.
  8. We really enjoyed the hibachi. My favorite was the scallops. I was unfortunately pretty full at that point. My non-drinking son decided he wanted to try sake. That was my tipping point apparently. I would say this is the first time I’ve been drunk on this trip. Like I’m not sure I can walk a straight line. Yikes
  9. Has anyone seen Aeromyth? I’m assuming they do Aerosmith? Going to attempt to drag the family there after Hibachi.
  10. We got off the ship and did some shopping. We stopped into Raices for mojitos and appetizers. It seemed like all the appetizers were fried. We ended up getting the cheese and an order of fish tacos. I didn’t care for the cheese. The tacos were fine but we were charged $4 more for them than was listed on the menu not sure why. We had coconut, mixed fruit, regular, and mango mojito. I didn’t think they were anything special. They were small and $10 a piece. I think it was the Mofongo that we should have gotten.
  11. We are pulling into San Juan. We will be getting off the ship to do some shopping and get some drinks. We have hibachi tonight at 7 so will only be getting off for a few hours. The weather is really nice. Sitting on our balconies while the ship is pulling in. We had breakfast in the MDR which was packed. If you have 400 people waiting at the door when you open you are opening too late. We went to playmakers at noon for some wings. We loved the buffalo medium so attempted the hot and they were too hot for us. For those that are unaware they have 4 old school arcade games in playmakers that are free to play.
  12. Good morning, it is day 4 and we are still on our way to San Juan. We are scheduled to dock at 2 pm. I enjoy fresh squeezed OJ in the morning. It is only available in 2 spots early. You can get it in the windjammer or the spa. This will the 3rd time on this trip that I’ve waited 10 plus minutes at the spa only for them to tell me the machine isn’t working. 😡 I was then forced into the madhouse that is the windjammer. I’m not sure what they have against hanging an out of order sign. Have I mentioned how much I despise the early morning options? It is not designed for the early riser.
  13. Dinner was a success. In and out in 1 1/2 hours. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Desserts..
  14. So I couldn’t hear all of the announcement but I heard something is cancelled for the week due to technical difficulties. My guess is the aqua show. This is a bummer if that is the case since I skipped last week so i could see it with the family. I will have to confirm.
  15. Lobster bisque and goat cheese salad. The fried thing on top is the goat cheese it was nice and warm. This was a nice surprise.
  16. At Chops tonight for dinner. Appetizers came quickly. We have mushroom soup which had a strong pepper flavor. The others got pepper bacon and crab cake.
  17. We did the escape room this afternoon. It was a different experience. This isn’t something I went into thinking I would like. I wasn’t wrong. They say you should try everything once. I’ve never done it before so nothing to compare it to. We went to playmakers after for some table top shuffleboard and pool.
  18. We hung out on the pool deck for awhile at one of the jacuzzi’s. We then headed to bbq for lunch at 1. I ordered turkey but ended up with sausage instead. The chicken and the beans were my favorite.
