We did the carriage tour last year thru Bronco Stables. Crystal is a wealth of information, we had a wonderful time. We got to see parts of the island that are not part of your typical tourist tour. We highly recommend her, what a great day that was.

I am looking to purchase luggage for our upcoming Cruise to Alaska in August. What is the best brand out there, what do others use. The set I have is ancient and is over the size limit to fly. Thanks, :)

We were also on this cruise, I will look at my Dallies when I get home tonight. Was it the young lady who played the guitar by herself? If so, she was wonderful.

The day is finally here, we drove to thw poet and arrived around 9:30am, went through checking and we're able to board about 1030am, rain has finally stopped. We went had lunch in the MDR (concierge) it was very good. Husband had salmon and I had the braised short ribs which were very tender and delicious. Now we are in our cabin resting until muster. The ship is in wonderful condition. Everyone is so friendly, let's just hope this rain goes away and we have smooth sailing to Bermuda. See everyone at the sail away at 4:)

We are on the Summit for the September 3rd sailing. We both like to dress up for dinners, but thats just us. He will wear his 3 piece suit (always cold) I am taking a few dresses (some long, some short) We don't get to get "dressy" much at home.

If two people are staying in the same cabin but are not "married" and each one has their own Captain's club number does Celebrity combine the two club number points? example; we sailed last year together but only have 35 points (our first ever cruise) or should we have a total combined of 70?
I can't find the answer on Celebrity's website.

Does anyone know if you can get seagrams wine coolers on the summit? Could not find any information on their website. Thanks

Has anyone done the carriage tour in St. George? Husband and I are booked for September, looking forward to it.

We were in 9157 last year. We loved the overhang as you could sit out on the balcony in the rain and you are covered from the scorching sun. We did not have any obstructed views except you couldn't look straight up in the sky. Yes we did have some noise but nothing horrible. We loved it so much that we have the same cabin for our September cruise to bermuda

We upgraded our drink package last year from classic to premium when we boarded the ship. Never had an issue with sticker falling off. Matter of fact I still have our seapasses and the sticker is securely attached. Hope this helps some....:)

What side has the Summit be docking lately at kings wharf bermuda. Do they typically dock on port or starboard. We are sailing again next September previously we docked on port, that's where are cabin is and we enjoyed sitting on balcony just relaxing and people watch....

Rum swizzle is our new favorite drink,

We were in cabin 9157 on the Summit this past may. We loved the overhang above our balcony. Was wonderful to sit out there when it was blazing hot or raining. We are sailing again next September in the same cabin we liked it that much. There was a little bit of noise from above but not bad. Only problem we have to complain about was our room steward, terrible. Would leave dirty glasses, dishes when he came to turn down. Not very attentive and we were conceirge. Had to ask numerous times for ice and towels. Hopefully we will get someone else next year. Overall we had a wonderful time, love the ship and crew

The bar at the pool put just a little splash of some sort of either coffee liquor or something cherry. We just don't remember what it was.

I think my favorite is a toss up between the Mudslide and Rum Swizzle. We even brought back a bottle of the goslings gold seal rum. If we knew how hard it is to find that rum here at home would have brought back a few bottles. We are going again next September that's how much fun we had.
Still trying to duplicate the ingredients for the mudslide. The bar at the pool put some sort of liquor on top and I can't remember what it was. Tried chambord but that's not it. We were just on the Summit the end of May and had a blast.

Thanks everyone, we are booked for next September, couldn't pass up the deal.

Thanks. We are booked for next year.

Hi all, has anyone sailed to Bermuda in September? Husband are I are hooked, we just got back 4 weeks ago and want to go again as we had an absolute blast. I have a hold on cabin for September 3rd for the same cabin as we just had. I know it's hot there but is it as hot as its during the summer month.

Hubby and I got back June 5th. Summit is a wonderful ship, met so many nice people. The crew is great, we had an absolute blast and will be doing it again in 2018.

Thank you everyone, they were the best ever, now even better with the missing ingredient. A very close second were the Rum Swizzles which are perfect on a hot evening sitting on the patio, YUM.
Solstice Review
in Celebrity Cruises

I would be interested in reading your review as my husband and I were on the same sailing, we did not have a good time. We have sailed with Celebrity twice before and absolutely loved it. There have been alot of changes and they were not made for the good. Maybe they were made for the "good" for the CEO's pocket but not for the paying passenger. Very disappointed won't do this trip again.
