  1. The size of the cabin was ok for the three of us. We had the table removed so we have space opening up the chair/bed for our son. Our bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of hangers in the closet and lots of space for clothes in drawers. The luggages fit perfectly under the bed.

The tender is right underneath the cabin so every morning at 7 or earlier we were woken up by the noise. Therefore, I will NOT book this cabin again.

  2. Hi Grilljockey, we are on the same cruise departing mid June. We have a 12 year old son. I read there's nothing much for kids to do on this cruise unfortunately.

It's our first trip on Azamara too, actually first time on a cruise ever. Hopefully we'll all have a good time.

Our luggage tags arrived last week by mail.

    We checked in online.

We also signed up for the mingle & something reception.

  3. Hi Axita1,

Depends which port you are visiting but we have been on Azamara 6 times to date & tendering has only ever been about 10 - 15 minutes , some have been a little choppy but most fairly smooth . It can be quite a fun & chatty experience .

My Husbands not too good on rough seas but he has never had any problems when tendering .

    Hope this helps , Ann.

    Hi Ann,

We will stop in Sorrento, Amalfi, Santorini, Mykonos and Taormina. We have booked private tours on all ports. Being our first time on a cruise we don't know how long it will take us to meet the tour guide given the fact that all these ports are tender ports.

  4. Hi Axita1,

We stayed in 4019 on our 1st Azamara cruise 4 years ago as a guarantee cabin.

It was very central to everything & for disembarking for tours etc .

It is an adjoining cabin & we only heard voices from next door on one occasion in the 14 nights we were on board . It is above gangway & tenders & we were woken at 5am once , which was a really juddering noise & very loud , think it was a tender being lowered . Although we had about six days that we tendered we weren't disturbed again & any noise we did hear was at a more reasonable time when we were up & preparing for excursions .

    Hope this helps . Ann.

Hi Ann, thank you for your reply. In your opinion how long will it take us to be on shore (port) after taking the tenders?

  5. Just get up early an walk down the gangway or take the tender to port as Soon the ship is cleared by local authorities. As there are only 700 guests on board debarkation was always quick on our last Cruise.

    Which ports are you visiting?

So can you be on shore in 15-30 min? Thanks
