We had decided to go there on our last trip a few years ago but for some reason I let the driver convince me to go to a "better" beach. WRONG!!! I was so upset at myself. Why do research if you let someone change your mind?!? The beach he took us to was for excursions, so no chairs were available for us. Plus, the beach was sloped which made it hard for walking and really nowhere to sit. We stayed for about an hour and miserably went back to the ship. Definitely going here this time!!

Now you have me wanting to book an over the water cabana at Nellies but we definitely love to lay in the sun and some of those look like they have a lot of shade. Can someone enlighten me? Some have said it is first come first serve when you get there and somewhere else I read they reserved a certain cabana. So, which is correct? I would hate to pay that much and not have any sun, therefore it would be useless.

We went to an iguana farm in Roatan OMG!! I will need to find a pic and post for you. They were EVERYWHERE. And...it must have been mating season because there would be several groups all around, all over each other, sometimes 6 or 7 on top. Oh my, it was funny. But it was really freaky when we first got there to see so many, especially when they would come near you.

The after dinner shots look yummy. Were they different each nite and were they good? I know they were overpriced, but just how much were they?

Going to try a lot of the restaurants recommended. We are only staying 5 nites! How are we gonna try them all?:confused: That is one of the things I look forward to most on vacation is eating out!

Thinking of staying at the Key Lime Inn on Truman Ave...they seem to have the best parking option and it looks like a nice place, close to most things...Any opinions on that?

We won't be there till Sept but will definitely report back. I over research everything.....not sure how we ever took a vacation before computers...LOL

Thank you both so much! We will be there 5 nites for the poker run.. never been to KW so we are staying after the bikers leave to enjoy your beautiful island. What are some of the MUST DO things? And do you recommend a beach day say on Mon? So many things I have read say the beaches are not very good. Should we just spend time exploring the island? Again...thank you both so much!!!!

Taking a land vacation to KW...interested in a great place for dinner that won't break the bank..would esp like to hear from the locals as to their favorite places....

Lanny was our driver 2 weeks ago and he was fantastic as I am sure most of them are. It doesn't matter if you don't know what you want to do, he will give you suggestions, and you can even change from what you tell Victor you want to do. He took us all over the island pointing out various things and answering questions. I know it sounds freaky, but we went to the iguana farm and it was definitely worth $8. they are so big!!! We went to Fosters resort and had a wonderful lunch, very inexpensive and asked Lanny to join us for lunch, which apparently not many people do. We learned so much more about their way of living during our meal that I am so glad he agreed to eat with us. I would highly recommend Lanny if you book Victor.

Okay...I have taken thousands of pictures yet none seem as "professional" looking as all of these. I mean, when you look at them you go wow! I think maybe I don't zoom in when I should, or add a little something to the picture, like part of the tree. I don't know..I just know I have to go on another cruise so I can practice my photography:D

We went to Senor Frogs in Cayman and I ordered guacamole. Our waiter made it fresh right at our table. I was very impressed. It was soooo good.

I've loved everyone pictures, some very talented photographers here! This is my all time favorite cruise picture. My son was 3 in this picture, and he has autism which makes it hard to take a good picture of him, but you sure can't tell here, I feel like he is telling me everything is OK! :) It was taken at Grand Turk.

We used Gerry this year for 3 hours and we gave him $100 and told him to keep it all. $80 for 3 hours for the 2 of us. He was an excellent guide and our tour was worth $100.

Another high recommendation for Gerry. We toured with him 4/22/08 and had a wonderful time. I was not interested in doing the ruins or the tequila factory so he took us all over the island giving us history and seeing places we would not have seen otherwise. The island is small enough to rent a jeep and do on your own but you miss out on history. Gerri has good english and is very friendly. We had a great day w/ him and felt it was worth the price plus we tipped well on top of that. We would definitely do this again. Mike responds to all of Gerri's emails and can give great recommendations on how to spend the day also. He also checks back in closer to the sail date.

If our ship stops in Cozumel, can you get to Playa del Carmen easily or is it too far away?

Can you tell me, were the formal nites Mon and Thur? Do you know when the past guest party was? One more...Do you have the capers? Darn, I said one more, how to ask if you are gonna scan the capers?
