Currently only ATT offers a cruise ship package on Royal ships. (At least as of my last sailing ). But it does not apply to ship wifi. So on cellular at sea you can send texts with the ATT package to anyone you like. On ship or off. Sending a text through Royal iq requires you to have their communication package and only works on the ships network. It's supposed to be 7.95 per device.

Can you elaborate on this, communication package that allows you to communicate through Royal IQ? Is it $7.95 a day, or the duration of the trip?

We have $300 OBC on our next cruise and when I looked at the vacation document it shows $150 each for the two of us. Is this transferable? Can one of us use it all?

Why did you have to pay for 5? They charge the full capacity? On Disney they only ever charge for two I believe.

Q: Will there be a Formal Night/Captains Night?

A: The Main Dining Room will continue to offer Formal Nights until the launch of Dynamic Dining later in the year. When Dynamic Dining goes live on Oasis of the Seas, there will not be a set Formal Night, however, guests who prefer a more formal experience should dine at The Grande, where every night is formal night.

I guess this varies by ship, I'll be on Anthem so I'm guessing this is the policy there.

you folks are just like me. I check the website religiously to see if any suites open up in case I can upgrade. Fingers crossed!

How do you know which night is formal night? Are there multiple on longer (8 day) cruises?

What happens if you want a more expensive glass of wine and you bought the package, do you just pay the difference or do you have to pay the whole price?

Just FYI, we are booked in a SJS March 19 on Anthem and we are being allowed to book CK for dinner. I can't imagine they'd allow us to book if we couldn't use them. Another point, we have a second room that's a balcony and those passengers are also allowed on our reservation.

I agree, half bath is a must. this is our first Royal Cruise (15 Disney under our belt, trying something new) and I was happy when I saw we had this option. With 2 in the room it's not that critical but when more than 2 it's a must IMHO.

Hi, since we're talking about Jr Suites can I ask for clarification on some things? I called RCI but the guy I got didn't seem all that knowledgeable. I know JS doesn't have concierge. They do get a suite attendant, coffee/tea, robes., they can book Coastal kitchen for dinner. What isn't clear is do they get WOW bands on Anthem? Any other perks?

Thank you for all the info. Just one more thing, Ken said Ice tea, lemonade and flavoured water are free, can you get them at those machines or just in the restaurants? That's great that they're free, saves us on one drink package anyway! This is our first RC cruise, we've done a lot of Disney up until now and didn't have to worry about drinks but from what I'm seeing so far RC has a lot of other nice things.

Sounds like a stupid question but what is in the "soda" package? My son doesn't drink soda, but likes iced tea, lemonade etc. Are there any non-carbonated drinks offered?
