How does the overnight docking work? I have been on many cruises but never one that stayed overnight in port. Sailing 7/16/16

We're booked on the POA for next July and it is a pricey cruise even more than my two weeks touring Europe but I will say the price dropped 300 total for the cabin.. 4 of us in an interior...

the carnival sunshine is not a new ship. that ship is about 20 years old now, used to be called the carnival destiny

True but it's a totally different ship on the inside I sailed her as both and enjoy both cruises equally..

it looks like you're and avid NCL cruiser.. It was just that my neighbor and I booked at the same time she was already assigned..

I have never booked a gty room before and I did for an upcoming cruise in June. We booked 7 cabins total 5 of the 7 are Gty ocean view rooms which were all booked on or around the same day. Only one cabin has been assigned as of about 2 weeks ago. the others are still showing OK GTY. Now personally I have 3 NCL cruises booked this shouldnt affect the way my cabin will be assigned or will it? Just curious and excited for my up coming cruise... :cool:

Sailing in the Gem in June I did sail the Gem in 09 and I remember theme parties do they still have them? I want to be prepared? TIA..

Pretty much the same price as the Breeze.

Depends.. We sailed the freedom for 8 nights in April to Aruba and by the time we boarded our cruise fare was about 373 per person for quad ( I do interior cabins that way I vacation 2 times per year ) we had a total OBC of 572.00

I LOVED this review...especially the Valor part it brought me back to my 2 cruises on the Valor.....I love that ship!!!! I cant wait till my next cruise...

I decorated for my birthday the one time and the day befor the cruise was over I tooked and the people in the cabin accross from us saw me and said boy am I gonna have a hard time finding my cabin tonight he said once he saw my door he knew his was just accross

On your Feb 21 trip, you should check out the excursion over to the Tulum ruins from Cozumel. Interesting!

Golden Princess in Cabo San Lucas:

 

 

 

I love the Golden I took my very first cruise on her....

I haven't had a chance to check out this whole thread yet, but I love it! Here is a picture I took in January of the Golden Princess on a misty morning in Cabo. We were heading out for whale watching.

 

What a beautiful lady... The Golden will always have a special place in my hear she was the fist ship I sailed on and I cant wait to sail her again

Those are green bananas.... taste almost like a plantain and texture is diffrent
