Good Hotels Near Port Nola
in New Orleans

We will be going a cruise in June through Carnival Triumph. Are plan is to get there two days in advance to experience New Orleans. Would anyone have any hotel recommendations that would be close to the port and/or offer allow people to leave their car while on the cruise? Also, has anyone left their car at the port and how ours the security there?
