Hi new to princess so little u sure if toon layout and the site or customer service was not helpful.
looking at mini suite for four adults- so me, two sons and daughter. I and my daughter need separate bed and the boys can sleep in like a sofa bed but not sure if they is doable. If the main bed can be twins, couch sleepable plus a in wall bed then that be ok. The deck plans unlike other cruise lines do not show cabin layouts
appreciate insights
thanks

Note that whatever luggage you would walk on with has to fit within the scanners in the terminal (similar to airport scanners for carry-on bags).
Ah ok so my large suitcases might be tough to carry on for the scanner

I have a late check-in 230-300
is it better to walk on with luggage to room assuming room would be ready by than?

I was able to grab the last 2 refundable PE seats on Delta to duplicate my SAS reservation - at a cost of over $9,000! Now I can get that back. Sweet.
Well-done
I gave it to Thursday and was going to buy best I could find which wasn’t good for four people

Best news in long time

man’s saw double the price and horrible time

Flew into Copenhagen today. Saw 2 SAS planes. One at a gate, one parted way out on the edge of the airport. Wonder where the other planes are? Airport was pretty busy...took almost an hour to get my checked bag. Immigration took a very short time...maybe minutes in line.
Time will tell if the sides are both serious to end it

Curious on perspective, royal Caribbean told me to wait until the airline cancels flight if the strike is nit resolved. They assured me over and over royal is aware and have a plan to manage if SAS strike doesn’t end soon. However they couldn’t say plan but implied They had capacity just in case. If I wait until canceled the day before my schedule flight what happens if no flights are left? Isn’t it air to sea responsible for finding a comparable flight?
thanks

Will govt. step in and say go back to work while working on labor agreement? Not sure what labor provisions the govt had authority over but the whole area is impacted and would image tourism is getting hit

Pre-covid one time I did a Munich with a 30 minute layover. That was connecting from Adria Airlines onto Air Canada and involved a security check.
Munich is much more efficient airport. It is smaller and if your staying in the same alliance your staying in the same terminal.
I would be ok with either option, especially if you have the extra hour in Frankfurt.
Thanks
3 hour layover in Frankfurt

Hi all
so flight from US to Germany to final designation Stockholm on same ticket/airlines
get off in Germany go through passport control and get on new plane? My bags transported by airline?
stockholm would be passport and customs correct?
thanks
-
3 hours Frankfurt and 2 hours Munich airport layover enough time?
same ticket
Us to Frankfurt than to Stockholm-airline handle my checked luggage? Landing in Germany to Sweden means security line correct? Thanks

Air to sea won’t change flight without charging unless the flight is cancelled
SAS is canceling flights one day ahead to air to sea position is to wait one day ahead of expected to leave for cruise which is not great for planning

Bankruptcy ruling should be good news and allow for restructuring
hopefully this will assist with the strike

I’m pretty sure that SAS has a future.
Unfortunately, there are some employment conditions for flight personnel that the SAS management wants to bring to an end. The strike is not a question of wages but of management rights.
A large part of SAS is owned by the Danish and Swedish states - and SAS is especially important for Denmark and Copenhagen.
With the current Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, I believe the strike will come to an end. Negotiations are still open.I would think Denmark would help more

I looked back at your posts. Looks like you booked air through RCL. Isn’t it RCL’s responsibility to make sure you have a flight to get to the ship? If so, then I think your TA is right about hanging tight. I assume that RCL will find you the flight and that you are not responsible for any price increase/difference. Is my assumption correct? If so, do nothing for another week before going the route of refundable tickets. July 30 is still 3 weeks away. Hope the strike will be over before then.
Rcl will find me a flight the issue is I have to pay the difference for a much worse flight and all the flights are double the cost

I am flying to Oslo.
everyone’s situation is different. I fly for a cruise, so I must get there on time. If SAS resumes flying and my original flight goes, great. Otherwise, I let them cancel me for full refund and potential compensation. Don’t think I would try them next time. Too unreliable. I cannot accept airline cancelling as late as 24-48 hrs. Some years ago, I encountered a pilot strike situation from British Air. They informed me of a potential strike over 2 weeks in advance. There was enough time for me to make alternative travel plan. I ended up traveling days earlier. Airfare is more reasonable booking 2 weeks ahead instead of 2 to 6 days.
Do you think SAS will be around next year? Or any SAS flight to/from US after consolidation?
I’m shocked what a small amount of flight options I have open to me
SAS really had market cornered
not sure what to do
travel agent told me to hang tight as the prices go up
