Good evening fellow cruisers. I have a strange question.  I heard that the walls in a cabin are metal. I have cruised at least 15 times and this was a first I heard of this. Can anyone confirm it.

I understand that this is not the normal question but when I went to Hawaii I was not aware that you can not gamble on the ship while in Hawaiian waters. So does anyone know if it is the same in Alaska. thanks for any input.

Good evening all, I am going on a cruise to Hawaii in Sept on Radiance of the seas, which I have never been on and I was wondering if anyone knows if they offer the Mystery Theater Dinner. The last few cruises I have been on said they did but when I got on the ship they didn't. One reason was the ship not having the restaurant that performs it and another reason was the itinerary. Any info is appreciated

Good morning everyone. My time is getting near for my Hawaiian cruise and I am so excited. I am looking for anyone that might have done a private tour of Pearl Harbor to give me an idea of the cost pp. and if it is worth it.

Thanks to everyone's advise I will definitely look into it more. I did get my flight through Royal and at the time it seemed late enough but when I saw the tour was 5 hours I got concerned. I am weary about getting tickets off the ship and to tell you the truth I am not sure that the cruise line will be getting us tickets for Pearl Harbor for us. The excursion says (First, proceed to the Rangers Station to see if Memorial ticket times are available. If you obtain a ticket, the tour will take 1 hour 15 minutes.) Not guarantee a ticket.

I spoke with Royal and they say it begins at 8:15 and it is 5 hours which gives me 1.5 hours to catch my flight. Is that enough time to go through customs and security & make my flight. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know how many free at sea choices you get when you book with NCL. Does it go by the type of room you book and does it apply to all guess in the room.

What is meant by neighborhoods on the ships. I haven't sailed any of the big ships and was thinking about trying it. Can someone please explain what they mean by neighborhoods.

Does Carnival ever go to Oahu? I was searching for a Hawaiian cruise and I would like to see Pearl Harbor in Oahu. I know that other cruise lines go there but I was wondering if anyone knows if Carnival EVER go there. Thanks

I sail Dec 3 and also was disappointed about the news. I didn't receive any emails about the changes but a friend that is cruising for the first time got the email with the changes. I spoke with Royal and they say everything that has been posted is true but as far as working on the ship. This will be done when we are on it but most of the work will be hidden and done while we are dock on islands. I just hope all goes well which I am sure it will since I have never been disappointed with Royal. I also wonder if the 25% off has to be used in a certain time period. Has anyone heard anything about that?
