  1. I’ve been on many, many cruises. The Dawn was our least favorite and would never take my kids on her. Everyone is different, but found her to be boring compared to what we’re used to. I personally would take them on The Oasis class on Royal. Not sure of their ages, but something for all ages!! Glad to answer any questions!

  2. Just received our complimentary Bermuda brochure and handy pocket map. The Bermuda brochure has lots of suggestions on planning your trip to Bermuda. The pocket map is easy to read and is very helpful. I loved the detailed street maps of St. Georges, Hamilton, Somerset and the Royal Navy Dockyards. It took only 10 days for the information to arrive.

  3. We were at Coco Reef last year under the “Resort for the Day” pass. Pool use was included, lunch was excellent and never felt like we were “outsiders”...enjoyed it so much that we’ll be going back this October.

Thank you... good to hear. Were drinks expensive? Around what price range?

  4. I don't know if I have anything to add, but I can reinforce the good things others have already said. Los Lobos was one of my favorites and I didn't use my SDP because it was so inexpensive. Try the jalapeño margarita. I spent at least an hour (or more) every day at the thermal spa. It was only crowded on the last day. I loved the Atrium bar and the singing duo that performed there. I never went to the wine bar, but I wish I did. Gatsby's was my favorite place to get a martini or mixed drink. I enjoyed sitting and listening to the piano player. We also ate at Moderno, Cagneys, La Cuchina, and Le Bistro. All good. There's a small mojito bar in Moderno that opens at 5:30PM.

I love Jalapeño margaritas. We have the drink package but not specialty dining. Do they have a bar where you can just go in for a drink? Also does the drink package work in a specialty restaurant? Are they open all day? Thanks... new to NCL.

  5. The Venetian is bigger and nicer of the two MDRs. The menus and food are the same.

It is also the more "formal" of the two MDRs (i.e., gents need to wear long pants - no shorts). So,,, it typically has fewer families with small children.

Thank you! In the aqua dining room shorts are allowed?

  6. We will be in Bermuda June 10-12. We are looking to do a resort day pass at CocoReef. My husband likes the beach and I like a pool. Has anyone done this? What are the pros and cons at this particular resort?

  7. It's been a few years since my last cruise. I leave this Saturday on AOS. We just received an email that our boarding time is 3 pm. We were hoping to board much earlier. If we get to the pier early can we board early?
