One Day

My wife and I enjoyed the Chef’s Table on a Carnival cruise out of Charleston. Wonderfully prepared food; Excellent presentations. More than Ample pourings of wine. Excellent service. Although the meal was served in the Ship’s Library, we also got the Chef’s tour of the kitchen facilities. Only 16 or so spots were available. Felt VERY exclusive and was thoroughly enjoyable. We have signed up for another Chef’s Table on a cruise out of Baltimore September

My wife and I are taking our first cruise out of Charleston on an older Carnival ship(Ecstasy). We are primarily wine drinkers(but not wine snobs). Was wondering if the Cheers package is worth the price, if primarily drinking wine. Also, was reading about eating in the Steakhouse? On the first evening and an offer for a free bottle of wine? This is a 5 day cruise with 1 day each at Half Moon Cay and Nassau. Any other suggestions for 1st timers? Oh, what about the Spa on this ship? Worth the price?
