  1. My friend and I have a zip line excursion the day we are in Cozumel. It is set to get over by 11:30.

We are very interested in going parasailing afterward, but being it our first cruise and first time in Cozumel, we don't want to venture too far from our port. Does anyone know of a place that is relatively close by that we could do this at?

    Thanks in advance!

  2. So my friend and I will be on our first cruise in 5 days. It's a 5 day cruise to Cozumel and Progresso.

While in Cozumel we will be doing zip lining. Afterward we are more than likely going to get something for lunch. What are some good places to eat in Cozumel that are close to dock?

    Thanks!

  3. You chose a check in time not a boarding time - with FTTF you will be allowed to board after the platinum and diamond cruisers and wedding parties - that will happen after the boat is emptied of earlier guests and the port has agreed to begin boarding new guests, sometimes the crew has to go through additional procedures that can delay boarding - this, sometimes, prompts the email you received.

    Thank you. [emoji5]

  4. We are going out in a couple of weeks as well. I just received an email regarding Important Information and stating that the ship (Triumph) will not start boarding until 12:30 the day of our cruise. I have chosen our staggered boarding time (earliest time) and have FTTF as well. Is this email standard or specific to our particular voyage?

    Thanks!

I received the same email and I'm curious about that too! We also have FTTF and chose the earliest check in time. So does that mean we will have to wait until 12:30 to actually board, or will they let us on earlier?

Sorry if this question seems dumb, I'm a first time cruiser. Thank you in advance for the clarification!!

  5. That's a really great idea! Where can I find the correct email address to do that? I sail on the Triumph in June and may do that as well. I'm not an antisocial person, I just don't like making small talk with strangers.

  6. Yeah, I've noticed how quickly hotels are booking, so I'd imagine something is going on. And we only need one room. We were college roommates for years and are sharing a room on the triumph. So that's not a huge deal. If we decide to do that I'll let y'all know. Thanks for the help, I greatly appreciate it!!

  7. The 4* for $122 per night in the Warehouse district may vary well be the Hilton. The description is identical to what I chose when we got it for $91. Either way a 4* for that price should be a very nice option.

Is that the name of the hotel? I apologize that I'm making this difficult. I swear I'm an educated person! Lol

  8. I love New Orleans, it's a lot of fun! I only live about an hour away. It's sad I don't go more often.

We were looking for somewhere near the French Quarter. I know it is difficult to find reasonably priced. More than likely we would have someone just drop us down there so we don't have to hassle with the stress of paying for parking.

  9. Hey y'all,

So My friend and I are sailing out of New Orleans on the Triumph on June 11th. I am a first time cruiser and was wondering if anyone knew of any reasonably priced hotels that off free or inexpensive transportation to the cruise terminal. We live in MS so we will be either driving over or someone will drop us off.

It's not a huge deal, we just wanted to come over a day early and spend the afternoon/evening exploring the French Quarter and River Walk. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!
