I loved the Breeze this past Christmas so much that I booked it again this Christmas

Although this time I booked us for Spa Rooms ... We absolutely loved the spa the thermo pool is amazing!

Next time I will be bringing my own scrubs for the Spa - they charge like $6 a scoop in their

We hung out at the red frog ALL the time

What are scrubs? We are sailing on Breeze in Feb and I got my wife the spa thermo pool pass.

We were on the Conquest this month and was really surprised to find two usb ports in the base of the bedside lamp.

Yep. Just got off Liberty and there were 4 usb charging stations, 2 in each lamp. My wife and I both use cpaps and those lamps were wired to a switch on the wall so no 120v plug by the bed.

  3. I will pass on the social media contact.

Does Carnival push the post cruise survey as hard as Royal? That's a good reason to answer email and make something like this happen. The email wasn't available on Royals website either. I imagine they don't want to make it public to avoid being overrun with requests.

    Thanks for the info.

  4. My wife and I are doing a short 4 night cruise on Liberty in about a month. I signed up for early dining time. Will they seat the 2 of us at a table with others and if so is there a way to request a table for 2? This is my first Carnival cruise after several on Royal.

I asked this same question on Cruise critic before a similar 4 night cruise on Majesty and was given a dining services email address. They set us up with a very nice 2 seat table by a port hole in the MDR for that trip. Does Carnival have anything like that and can you request a table for 2 ahead of time.

  5. Going on my first Carnival cruise in Feb on Liberty. Done a few on Royal. I had a midship deck 6 balcony booked. Got the email a couple of weeks ago offering an upgrade to deck 9 for $34. I declined until tonight when I realized deck 9 is the same deck as the pool and many restaurants. Seems like a good deal not needing an elevator as much. Anyone stayed on the Lido deck on Liberty.

  6. Thanks to the OP for the review. I have my first Carnival cruise coming up in Feb.

I have been on Oasis twice and had problems scheduling shows. What happens is they fill up and those times are not presented to you on the website. Didn’t see any shows my first Oasis cruise due to the only available times being during our dining times.

The second one I got on the website earlier and was able to book most of them

  7. Great review. I have cruised 5 times on Royal Caribbean. Just booked a Feb 2020 cruise on Breeze for our first on Carnival. How does the SPA thermal suite and pool and showers work? I assume I will need to get my wife a pass. Nothing is available this far out in front of my cruise. How early should I start looking and are they likely to sell out? Same for the early boarding program. I don't see anywhere to buy them yet. Pretty happy with the price as compared to Royal.

  8. Great review, thanks for sharing!

Did you happen to keep your Cruise Compasses? We'll be on the same itinerary in April and would love to see an "up to date" compass. Thanks

Royal has a new smart phone app out. Oasis is one of the ships supported. It has all of the compass schedule info on it and more for 3-4 weeks at a time. You can use it on the ship for free even if you do not have the internet package. I am sure you can find the same itinerary on it.

  9. I stayed in 6606 on Oasis last year. Its similar to 12650 only on the forward hump. We loved it since it had a slightly larger balcony for the smaller balcony price. The hump doesn't obstruct your view at all unless you are leaning out trying to see the front of the ship. Same thing would happen on any balcony between the humps. You will get a better view of the rear of the ship than we did. Basically not an issue.

  10. It’s a good deal. Did it on Oasis last year and had dinner at Park 150 for $15 a person. Price has gone up to $20.

The deal says they pick the restaurant but you can change it once on the ship if you do it early enough. Planning on Chops in a couple of weeks.
