Did you happen to notice if the waterslides were open at Amber Cove? We are cruising Oct 6th on the Breeze and had read they had been closed.

I have been on both and prefer the Breeze even though New Orleans is a much closer drive for us. We are booked on the Breeze this October 6th. The Dream that week is almost completely sold out since it is fall break week. We prefer the decor on the Breeze, and it has the ropes course and thrill theater that our kids love that the Dream doesn't have. Also the Red Frog pub and Italian restaurant for dinner. Dream only has the pasta bar at lunch.

We go up the stairs one level, walk the outside deck and back down. No need to go through the buffet.

We have stayed in those rooms for 5 on Dream and Breeze and always had that warning but in reality never had a problem with the bed being made into a king. I requested it that way on the booking and it was set up as king when we arrived.

In my experience on Dream and Breeze the 2-5 group was always separate from the older two groups. Most days the 6-8 group would have combined activities with the 9-11 group.

Camp ocean ends at age 11. The 11 year olds will be together in the kids club. The 13-14 year kids will be in Circle C. The 15 year old will be Club O2.

We were on breeze 3 weeks ago. There was Flik, 88 Keys, Motor City. One night was a country show. Also two magicians did a short show, and a night with Hasbro game show.

We bought the passes two weeks ago and saw all the different shows. They lasted 15-25 min each. My 3 kids enjoyed and it was a good use of afternoons when they were done at the pool. Got very crowded on sea days though.

Not many channels for kids. Cartoon Network and a channel that plays a different family friendly movie each day on a loop.

Also off the Breeze yesterday and I never even met our steward. We had twice a day service with no issues. Could be because we had 5 of us in one stateroom. I saw a steward asking some of the surrounding passengers there preference though.

Just got off the Breeze, height requirement for ropes course was 48 inches with 300 lb max weight. Pretty sure it's the same on Vista. My 7 yo DS was too short but my 10 & 12 yo did it several times.

It was a medical emergency. I just got off the breeze this morning. We got to Galveston around 10:15 last night. It was announced yesterday morning we would be arriving early.

Thanks for the info, that helps. So are they still allowing regular self assist to start leaving before any of the platinum/FTTF passengers with zoned # tags? Our last cruise on the Dream was a complete mess trying to leave even with FTTF. No one told us the correct place to go. Hoping to prevent that this time.
Thanks

We are leaving on the Breeze this Sunday October 9th. We have FTTF and need to be off early to drive the 10 hours home. Any idea the order that is usually followed for disembarkation? Is Priority self assist the first group off? Any idea what time they would start letting the Zone 1 group leave if we don't do self assist?
Thank you!

Yes you get breakfast. Buffet is open or MDR.

From my experience they do not help with any of that. Only changing diapers of the 2 year olds. After 3 they are required to do all bathroom stuff themselves.

We have 5 with 3 young kids and enjoy the Deluxe Oceanview rooms. Dream, Magic, Breeze, and Vista all have these rooms. Having two showers is great.

Loving your review! We will be in Belize in October, and considering Bacab with our 3 kids. How was the included food there? Any chance you remember what other food options they sell? I don't think my kids will touch the chicken and rice.
Thanks, can't wait to read more.

I've only seen it mentioned on 8 night or longer cruises. Which is disappointing.
