Follow-up question: was the Breeze's Belize tender wheelchair accessible?
-
The deck plan I saw is a bit ambiguous. It indicates accessible walkways around the sports areas on Deck 12, but not whether the areas themselves are accessible or reachable by wheelchair from the Deck 12 elevator. I know the Glory's sports area is completely inaccessible; I was hoping I'd have better luck with the newer Breeze.

Everyone else's suggestions are on point. I wanted to add I was a first-time Carnival cruiser in October (on Glory), and as a wheelchair user, I have nothing but good to say about the accessibility and crew support. My only quibble with Carnival ships is that the sports decks are not accessible via elevator. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Yeah, Saffie was outstanding.

151 days until Carnival Breeze

We sailed on the Glory last month and ate in the steakhouse the first night. HIGHLY recommended. And the first night is a great night to go, as it wasn't close to crowded.
-
The coffee shop coffee on the Glory was quite good, and my barista was always nice.

We loved it. No problems with chat, and it was very handy for finding activities and setting reminders. Also handy for keeping ship time.

About the only activity you can't pursue while in port is gambling in the casino.

I'm sailing on the Breeze in April and wondering how wheelchair accessible the Thrill Theater is. I can transfer out of my wheelchair into a theater seat in a pinch, but that only works if there are no steps down to the back row. Any info is appreciated.

The only reason I would care and/or think it rude would be if we had really hit it off with the couple who bailed. Otherwise, you said yourself you had nothing in common. If you're not missing their companionship, you're better off anyway.

30 days until we set sail on Glory!

Thanks! I hope Glory has some. I can't wait to get my hands on them!
Me too! We set sail on the Glory Oct. 8.

For me, I love the flashy Vegas decor [emoji3] It's fun and exciting and puts me in the mood to cruise. I've been on the Breeze and found it to be too subdued for me. To each his own I suppose [emoji854]
I'm looking forward to sailing on the Glory for similar reasons. Very excited by the colorful decor I've seen on YouTube videos.

didn't even know the carnival hub was usable when not on board. doh. :o
Well, to be fair, the countdown is about the only thing you CAN do before you board, besides futzing with your Hub profile.

Looks like Little French Key. :)

You are definitely not the only one. Just under 43 days here.

Here's another post agreeing with the original poster. We got the Cheers package precisely so we don't have to pay for drinks individually. It adds to the all-inclusive, luxury feel for us.
