We got the classic package as a perk on our first cruise last month. Originally I chose no perk to save money. After the cruise, my wife said it is a must have for future cruise. We would not pay the full price for the package separately though.

Agreed, gotta be included or available for a reasonable upcharge (NCL) to make it worth it IMO ;)

  2. For those in concierge class, can someone speak to if your room attendant or guest services was able to get your foot stools fro your balcony?   I know it sounds stupid, but the foot stools are really what pushed me into upgrading to CC in the first place. :(

Thank you much. I am curious though. How did you compile this extensive list? How long did it take?

lol!! Jeez, well I did the brunt of the work a few years ago the first time I posted it (this time around it was just reformatting and changing the liquors that Celebrity offers now), but it definitely took several days and a lot of hours that first time around -- but it was a fun, and educational, little project.  I get a lot of information from posts here and I am happy to be able to contribute to the forum and that people found it helpful. :)

Thanks for all the love, guys! ^^

P.S. Try a dark and stormy on your next cruise if you haven't before! (and make sure they add the bitters)  especially if you like Moscow mules~ I don't know how I never had one before I made this document, but they are delicious and have been my new favorite since~

Are these all standard cocktails that the X bartenders are trained on? If I ask for a ‘Jasmine’ will I have to explain what it is?

No guarantees, but the bartenders will probably know most if not all of them.  These are all rather popular drinks from different parts of the world and we have the luxury of well traveled bartenders, but worst case you have the ingredient list in hand 😜

  5. Hey Guys!  So a few years back I made this document for my first celebrity cruise.  It was my first time cruising with a drink package so I was obviously rather excited.  (Spoilers: it was awesome and basically ruined me and now I can't cruise without one, lol)  It is not a drink list from the  menus obtained from the ship,  It is a list of popular drinks arranged by the primary liquor used and their ingredients, so you can be more adventurous and order something new instead of the same handful of drinks you might order on land.  You are cruising and have access to a full open bar, be adventurous and try something new! Worst case, you don't like it and order something else~  It was really well received the first time I posted it several years ago, so I've updated it with the changes in the alcohol offerings currently on Celebrity's line.  Personally, I like to print this 2 pages per sheet and double sided, and it will all fit on one sheet of paper to take with you on your cruise.

Classic: (drinks up to $9) If you have the classic package,  there are a few drinks that include amaretto and Irish cream liqueur, to my knowledge these should still be included as long as you are not using Disaronno Amaretto & Bailey's (i.e. use the house liqueurs). [People still get mudslides all the time on the classic package, right? ==> there has to be a house Irish cream.]  ***For those obsessed with Bailey's -- A few years back you could get a shot of Bailey's (as it was under $9) and then simply add it to your included cocktails/coffees; I'm not sure if this is still the case though.

Keep in mind -- you only have to pay the difference in the event that a drink happens to be over the Classic $9 limit. I can make no guarantee's on the prices of these drinks, however if you stick to your included alcohol choices, there is very little reason it should be over the limit.

Premium:  (drinks up to $15) The premium liquors are in purple so you can distinguish them from the classic liquors. All the specialty drinks made with premium specific liqueurs are also in purple. -- I find it really helpful just knowing WHAT something is (Ex: St. Germain = elderflower liqueur & Chambord = raspberry liqueur) which I have included for all the liqueurs.

Also, don't forget to ask for the alcohol you want!!! It is the reason I have bolded the alcohol and italicized /color coded the Cordials/Liqueurs -- If you don't specifically ask, they will end up making your drink with house alcohols!  If you want a Sea Breeze, ask for "a Sea Breeze with Absolut" or an "Smirnoff Sea Breeze" -- if you just ask for a "Sea Breeze" you'll likely end up with Well vodka~ I have also italicized all the liqueurs in the ingredient list, so you can specifically ask for "A Cosmopolitan with Absolut and Cointreau" (vodka & triple sec brand names).

    Cheers 🍹

  6. I'm sure if they have already booked any of the new cabins that aren't going to get built, those guests will simply be upgraded to better unsold cabins and everyone will be happy as clams (i think most of the new cabins were interior anyway).

  7. Hopefully I didn't miss that someone asked this but I swear I did try to search. Since some of you were recently on a Celebrity Cruise, were there plenty of cocktails on the menu you could order with the Classic Package? I see the list of liquors but someone posted pics of cocktail menus (including drinks of the day) from a very recent Solstice cruise and I noticed that almost all of them were over the $9 limit. It made me think I wouldn't be able to order any of their specialty cocktails without an upcharge. Is this true?

No - you can basically (for the most part, except the martini bar) get anything on any menu, but you just have to ask them to substitute the premium liquors for one that's included in the classic package. They purposefully put the flashy drinks on the menus with a premium liquor. I drank Dark N' Stormys and Moscow Mules day and night, but got them with Captain Morgan and Absolute. There really is no need to upgrade, and if you decide you want to try something a little more expensive or get a shot of Bailee's in your coffee - it's only $1.18 :)

Basically the mixers are included in both packages, it's the liquor in them that excluded them. So if you stick to your included liquors, you can have virtually anything you want~

  8. Alaska brewing: white, amber, free ride were all available on my sailing.

--- I was shocked that I actually preferred the Alaska white to Blue moon, so did not need to upgrade to premium :) ! I'm sure their Amber is good too, I just don't like dark beers.

They have plenty of wines to choice from, in the main dinning room there are about 2 reds and 2 whites in the classic package and then a couple more in the premium. You can always go to the cellarmaster for a larger selection included in either package m or if there is a specific one you want and know the name, your waiter can get it for you at dinner. --- I had a mixed drink and wine every night at dinner on the classic package and was plenty pleased with their offerings.

  9. Anonymously: from reading recent threads/posts it looks like they are NOT included in the classic package, but are in the premium.

Ghstudio: awesome, I'm from Texas and love me some Titos -- I'll keep an eye out for it on the cruise.

Laurab23: nope. The premium list has everything from the classic list, so you only need the one :)

    I'm glad I could help, ya'll!

  10. Hey Guys! It's OP -- I have finished both versions! I'm so happy you guys have found it helpful!

Classic: I made some formatting changes to the Classic version and added a few extra drinks. It still all fits onto 4 pages. There are a few drinks that include amaretto and Irish cream liqueur, to my knowledge these should still be included as long as you are not using Disaronno Amaretto & Bailey's (i.e. use the house liqueurs). [[people still get mudslides all the time on the classic package, right? ==>> there has to be a house Irish cream]]***For those obsessed with Bailey's -- I have heard people being able to get a shot of Bailey's (as it is under $9) and then simply adding it into their included cocktails/coffees.

Keep in mind -- you only have to pay the difference in the event that a drink happens to be over the Classic $9 limit. I can make no guarantee's on the prices of these drinks, however if you stick to your included alcohol choices, there is very little reason it should be over the limit.

Premium: I added in all the included liquors on the premium package in purple. All the specialty drinks made with premium specific liqueurs are also in purple. -- I find it really helpful just knowing WHAT something is (Ex: St. Germain = elderflower liqueur & Chambord = raspberry liqueur).

Also, don't forget to ask for the alcohol you want!!! It is the reason I have bolded the alcohol anditalicized /color coded the Cordials/Liqueurs -- If you don't specifically ask, they will end up making your drink with house alcohols. If you want a Sea Breeze, ask for "a Sea Breeze with Absolut" or an "Smirnoff Sea Breeze" -- if you just ask for a "Sea Breeze" you'll likely end up with Heaven Hill vodka~ I have also italicized all the liqueurs in the ingredient list, so you can specifically ask for "A Cosmopolitan with Absolut and Cointreau" (vodka & triple sec brand names)

ghstudio: Tito's isn't included in either package according to the Celebrity website :(

schiff1997: If you check the original document next to Pina Colada I actually had put "(+ 1/2 Daiquiri = Miami Vice)" ;P lol! but i gave it it's own line in the new one just for you!

marleycruiser: already the plan! :) hope you like purple! I am also leaning a lot less to upgrading now - the only thing left tempting me are the sugar free red bulls!

cruise raider: I know! :D I think it will end up working out better for most people, even if they did move a couple of liquors/liqueurs into the higher tier~ But I feel like they probably have house amaretto and irish cream, so most any drink should still be feasible on the classic package.

Kevinyork: Thanks for the koodos! :) Yes, it's true Bailey's is no longer included on the classic package, however, a lower shelf irish cream should still be included [which is why i wrote 'irish cream liquor' instead of 'baileys'] ;) If for some reason they don't have a cheaper bailey's alternative then I guess those drinks won't be included -- I'll test out the theory on the ship and report back!

    Jennie & Bob: You're welcome!

    JudithLynn: I totally agree, lol.

denatravels: I'm hoping there is a lower shelf alternative -- I'll test out the theory and report back!

  11. Hey everyone!

My fiance and I are about to go on the Celebrity Infinity to Alaska and have the classic drink package included. In the spirit of trying new things, I didn't want to end up ordering the same 5-6 drinks that I was already familiar with, so I made this document to take with me on the cruise. It includes all the included liquors/liqueurs on the classic package and includes about ~85 common drinks categorized by the primary alcohol used. It fits onto 4 sheets -- I personally plan to print 2 sheets to a page & double sided, so it will all fit on one paper that I can carry around with me. :) I made this document for myself and my fiance, but thought it could be helpful for anyone who wanted to branch out and take advantage of the large assortment of booze options. :p

I'm currently making one for the premium package as well. I hope you all get some use out of this! Take care!

Edit: Please tell me if there are any really obvious/delicious ones I left off!
