  1. Your only other option is when you get to the port go ahead and check your bag then head out looking for a convenience store. I haven't personally been to this one, but it gets good google reviews and isn't that far of a walk if you are able bodied.

You could also break up the trip by stopping at Cochon Butcher for lunch, which is amazing and avoid the madness of everyone boarding the ship. :D

  2. There is not a place at the airport to purchase a 12 pack of soda but you can ask your taxi to take Airline Hwy to Earhardt Expressway and you can stop at one of the many convenience stores along the way.

Thanks for the reply but I'm doing the transfer by Carnival. You think they'll stop? LOL! JK.

  3. It was offered a few years ago (Glory in 2013) but I don't see it listed as a pre order option. Check at the spa front desk. When I had it done, you could either bring your own make-up or use theirs. I had it done for formal night.

    Thanks!

  4. Ok im confused, im on the fascination 10/1/17 sailing. Also chefs table reserved for the cruise. No correspondence yet on what day this dinning event is scheduled. How is 9/30 (your sailing date) one day before mine on the same ship?

We're not on the same ship. I'm on the Triumph.

  5. Are you sure? I don't think they ever have the Chef's Table on elegant nights. We received a note in our cabin about Chef's table the second or third day. How did they inform you, what about clothes? There is no way I would show up to the Chef's Table in shorts, T and flip flops

Yes, I received an email. It says my reservation date is 9/30 (same as sail date) and time is 6pm.

  6. I am traveling on a seven day carnival cruise with my family of 4. My husband and I plus our two teenage boys. I purchased the cheers and soda package. I purchased our excursion already. How much should I put on the sail and sign card. I know they recommend 200 a person but since I purchased our drinks/excursion already I was wondering if 600 would be good.

Since you've prepaid for your beverage packages and excursions, the other expense to deduct is gratuity. After that it's up to you how much you think you'll spend on shopping onboard, spa services-if any, specialty restaurants, etc. You can always add more cash or use a credit card.

  7. I sailed Triumph during Easter week. There was no adult pool and 1000 children onboard. Most children were kept busy in camps. The top deck behind the big screen by the whale tail was the perfect spot.

Ugh! I just want a quiet, public area to relax. I'm sailing 9/30 so hopefully there won't be too many kids onboard. [emoji23]
