Ships out of Galveston usually have some country on them. Both the Breeze and now the Vista had opportunities for country music, and the karaoke usually leans country as that's what a lot of people pick.

Sounds good but what's the price difference?

The Alchemy Bar is now a popular spot on the Breeze; it was retrofitted into another bar location and could use a little more space to be honest. Don't be surprised if you have to wait a bit for a drink, but it's worth it.

Guy's Burgers and Blue Iguana are open on port days. Check the Fun Times for hours.
BBQ is only on sea days. I think it's the only restaurant that doesn't operate every day.

Guy's Burgers, Blue Iguana, Pizza, and Tandoor are all on Lido (10), not 7. Guy's Burger and Blue Iguana are mid by the Beach Pool, Pizza and Tandoor are aft by the Tides Pool.
BBQ is deck 5 mid starboard outside.
Cuicina del Capitano is deck 11 but can be accessed via a staircase inside the Lido (10) buffet.
SeaDogs is deck 12 mid (but is only open for a couple hours at a time)
Coffee Bar is deck 5 mid.

It's $5 per device for the length of the cruise for chat. Everything else is free and we used the app a lot on our cruise for the Fun Times. Other than the Hub app we only used our phones as cameras as we didn't pay for internet access and kept the cell radios on airplane mode.

These are the ones I used before our May cruise. Things may have changed a bit as the cruise director has changed but it should give you an idea.

The Carnival premium wifi is the fastest they have on board and includes "some streaming video services". Which ones? They don't say.

For us it was the morning of the last port day.

Steel drums, violin trio, brass trio, a couple of different bands, piano bar, Hasbro games, trivia, Playlist Productions... those are what I can think of off the top of my head.
-
Yep we considered Clue on the Breeze but every Clue reveal was tied to an event, usually bingo.
If you really want to play, stop by the events at the end. They hold the reveal until near the end.

You won't find anything 20+ that I'm aware of. There was Glenlivet, Macallan, and Chivas on the Breeze from what i remember; Chivas my have been 18 year at the Steakhouse bar.

We were on the Breeze right before her drydock, our muster was also A3, which was the 3rd floor in the main lounge, I think it is called the Ovation.
Sent from my iPad using Forums
Yes, it's called the Ovation Theater.

On May 28 we began boarding around 11:30.

The Breeze and the Magic are the same class of ship (Dream class). The structure of the ship itself is essentially the same. The decor is the largest difference; Breeze has a cool, tropical feel while Magic looks a bit like a Vegas casino. Most of the amenities are the same and are even in the same location on the ship.
Breeze is the newer ship and just came out of dry dock if that's important to you.

I don't think any Carnival ship sells/serves Starbucks.
I believe only the Breeze and the Vista do, and to be clear it's still the Coffee Bar but they use Starbucks coffee beans now.

We did the zipline and cave tubing excursion in Belize and had a great time.
In Roatan we had a beach day and also enjoyed ourselves.
-
Pizzeria del Capitano, and a library that isn't a bar.
The Breeze's Library Bar isn't really a bar right now either; the self-serve wine machines are all out of order.

Monday was playlist productions motor city
Tuesday was showtime country road
Wednesday was playlist productions 88 keys the rock n roll piano show
Thursday was HASBRO game show/bingo/get a clue
Friday was playlist productions Flick
Saturday was lip sync battle the main event.
I only went to Flick and I will say that it was very impressive. the best show I have seen on carnival in a while. We thought we should at least go to the theater one night!!! We like to go to the comedy show. If you go to that, especially at the end of the cruise, Go early people line up before each show and they empty limelight out at the end of each show to let everyone have a chance to go. That was great of carnival to do in my opinion.
Also on Thursday evening is the Love and Marriage show. The one we saw was hilarious.
We saw all the shows except for Country Road. All were good but Flick was probably our favorite also.

On the May 28 Breeze sailing we boarded through deck 0 but disembarked through deck 3. I guess they're still having trouble with the Galveston terminal gangway if they're still using deck 0.

We ate in Sapphire, but at night I could see the Blush dining room giving a bit of an orange tint.
A flash will light the subject with the correct color temperature light, but it won't correct the entire room. Add the color temperature of the room and the possible underexposure of the rest of the room at night, and a picture would probably appear more orange.
During the day this won't be as much of an issue.

Galveston Park N Cruise is directly across the street from the terminal. It's a short walk from your car and as long as you aren't bringing a ton of luggage it's easy to manage with your bags.
-
The muster station I was wondering where people would sit was on deck 4 near the art gallery, arcade, and the teen clubs (I believe it was D4). The arcade itself was part of the muster station. The teen clubs probably had some seats, but I'm not sure if it was enough for everyone who would need to be there.

If you're looking for a bargain, you likely won't get one. However, as mentioned you won't pay tax. I had bought a GoPro and accessories just before my cruise and most of the things I purchased were also on board. Might have saved a few dollars in tax, but other than that everything was list price.
There's always the option of getting a wifi plan and doing some online comparisons before purchasing.
Carnival Vista model ship!

I was looking for the Vista ornament a couple of weeks ago and noticed they were out of both the ornament and the model. Not sure if they come from the same supplier but they seem to be having issues with stock at the moment.
