We booked a cruise last weekend that leaves next weekend. I got a call not an email this past Tuesday offering an upgrade from OV deck 2 to OS deck 7 for $100 total. It was a no brainer- we took it. Not sure it matters but we are Platinum.

We sailed her last summer and had an extended aft balcony on deck six. We loved it as we could see both sides of ship.

You will receive an email.

Thank you for the review.

We were in cabin 7290 this past March. The "sofa" was definitely shorter than our past cruises on other ships. My daughter who is 5'9 slept with her feet hanging off the bed. It also did not have the drawers that the typical sofas have.

We sailed this past March in 7290 and had a fridge. Our group had 7 balcony cabins on this deck and all had fridges. I don't remember if anyone was in 7257 though.

Thank you for the great review! I am even more excited now. 79 more days...

Thank you for the post and pictures. Very helpful! I like options when cruising as well.

I cruised last month and took bottles of beer (most bartenders were willing to not open if asked) in soft sided cooler as well as a bottle of prosecco (for mimosas) off the boat. Did this in Grand Turk, St Maarten and St Kitts. No issues.

I was on the Sunshine for 8 nights last month. Loved it!

Thanks for the great information!

Looking forward to your report. I am also from So Florida and will be on the Legend next July.

Great! I am taking this cruise next summer and would love to read a current review.

We have always had a great time on Carnival. Also, when comparing to other lines, it has always been best value for our dollar.

Thank you for the review. We have this cruise booked for next summer. Did you do any excursions that you would recommend?

I have not sailed on Inspiration but none of the ships that I have been on had chips at Blue Iguana. The salsa bar is awesome so we bring two bags from home and then purchase more in ports if needed.

Wow. I just learned something new...gratuity is included? We have been to the steakhouse ( at least nine times) and have always tipped at least 20%.
I wonder how much of the $35 the servers actually receive.

To clarify, we do assigned dining and always link our reservations ( usually 4 families) and have never emailed anyone for requests. We have always had one table.

A glass of Champagne from the Steakhouse ( you can purchase at the bar no need to dine there). It's $20 a glass and delicious. Also any of the Alchemy Bar drinks.

I'm not sailing on the Magic until March. But I have sailed on her sister ships, once on the Dream and twice on the Breeze. Our largest group was 15 and we all sat together at one table. I am sure they can accommodate you.

Any special theme nights that happen besides the formal nights? We set sail on April 20th, and trying to make sure we pack all the right stuff! Also, anyone have any tips about things to do in port (St Maarten, St Thomas) that are not a shore excursion?? Traveling with DH and DD(4) - first cruise for both of them!! :o
We were on the Dream last week and there was a Caribbean Deck Party and a Mexican Party both at 10p.m. A blast!
I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "not a shore excursion", but we booked Godfrey tours in St Thomas which took us in an open air cab to the beach (Magen's Bay) and then to the shopping area. It was only $20 pp and well worth it!
In St Maarten we booked a private tour with Bernards Tours. Great driver in a new, very clean, air conditioned "bus" that took us to Orient Beach, Maho Beach, shopping...and a few scenic stops for pictures. This was 6 hours for $45 pp.
Both tours can be found if you google them.

Just got off yesterday and they called for those doing self-debarkation at 7a.m. I am platinum but sent bags the night prior, I was off by 7:45a.m.
