I see that the posts on this thread are almost ten years old. Does anyone have any experience with the Hot springs and thermal circuit with lunch excursion ?

This is a nice trip, but to long on my own opinion because go to Antigua first and then to Hot Spring Waters for lunch.

We will also be on the Celebrity cruise in October and are trying to narrow down our shore excursion for Guatemala.

If not the lake Atitlan tour, which one would you recommend?

We are a couple in our early 50's and like to see the old sites and

appreciate the history side of our tours. We are not into the coffee bean tours or jade tours.

What I suggest is enjoy the Antigua Tour (normally it is inlcuded jade), but most of tour is Antigua History, on the Cruise Ship some time it is a Tikal Tour a Mayan archeological site that you can visit, I do have a tour to visit and enjoy a enjoyable momment at chocolate factory.

We are looking for partners to operate the minimum on a tour to visit La Antigua Guatemala and coffee finca, there is 2 people already for this date.

Lake Atitlan is one of the beautyful places located on Guatemala, but.. it takes several hours on the bus vrs. the time that you really be on te lake. I can say Lake Atitlan is to stay an overnight here at least one night (I know you have not time, this time). So better take a different excursion on my opinion.

There is a company on the web it is http://www.shoreexcursioneer.com that only takes a deposit on credit card and the rest you pays when you got to Guatemala.

Does anyone know of any tour companies for a pick up at the Puerto Quetzal Port to Antigua Guatemala? I contacted TURANSA but they want full payment upfront, and we would prefer a small deposit, or credit card # to confirm reservation and be able to pay in cash the day of the tour.

 

Just wondering if anyone might know of other companies?
