As Nelblu said the pay goes over the water, the free just up and down. Honestly the free is ok but the pay is way better. I have done both and going over the side of the ship is just so much cooler. To each his own but I feel the pay is worth it.

Oct 10 transpacific people have been doing pretty well. I bid on a sky loft, minimum a few weeks ago, my bid was accepted within a few days, I just saw someone else was successful in our roll call yesterday. I would think success is easier on cruises not sold out, especially if you are in a suite and the bigger ones are open. I would think they want to move everyone up and make some money filling lower cabins with deals as it gets closer. Just a theory that worked for me.

Bid on an OS and Sky Loft suite on Sept 3 for Oct 10 Quantum Honolulu to Brisbane. I was in a GS with large balcony. Minimum bid on both. On Sept 6 I received congratulations for sky loft. Pretty happy with this since it’s a 17 day cruise.

As well as the Robotic Bar…
I feel like the robo bar is always broken. Been on quantum 2x, anthem and odyssey and it never worked on any of them. Maybe bad luck or the thing is just a defective design

OMG I just got congratulations email. I bid on a whim just over minimum for a sky loft suite on our 18 day transpacific. We were in a grand suite. It’s 36 days out I bid 3 days ago. I am so excited.

I vote for TG6. I just purchased my second one from Amazon yesterday because I gave my old one to my friends daughter who fell in love with it on a recent trip to Virgin Gorda. It is not a top of the line expensive camera but not cheap either. It takes generally good overall pictures but the under water capability for an amateur photographer is outstanding in my opinion. I had my old one for 5 years not a single problem and I am rough. Dropped it, and used it relentlessly. It is easy to use and my friends daughter took it and got crazy good underwater shots first time. I got a wrist strap and it worked great. Stayed secure and I have a small wrist and hand. Never fell off once. Had 2 go pros hated both and returned both. Too hard to use in my opinion. My friend took one to Hawaii did not get a single good picture in my opinion and he is not a dumb guy. Tried cell phone casings they never worked well for me. So that is just my two cents.

Heading to Cairo in 2.5 weeks. Spending a little over week in Cairo/Hurghada and then 12 days on a Viking Nile cruise. It has been a challenge navigating currency, clothing and the likes but I’m excited and sure it will be worth it. Seeing the pyramids and snorkeling in the Red Sea definitely a bucket list trip. I heard the new museum is open but still limitations.

I recently moved from a JS to a GS guarantee on Radiance Alaska this summer. I was reluctant as we like to pick our cabin and I am picky, but the price was barely more than my JS so I took the risk. Within a week my cabin was assigned and I’m really happy with the location. So for me my one and only experience has been a good one.

Thanks so much for the food pictures. Everything looks absolutely delicious! I think I was worried for nothing!

Thanks so much for the excellent and balanced review. I am planning a cruise for a music group I belonged to and we were able to secure the pyramid lounge on Indy for 3 private events in Nov 2019. Not an easy task, but my friend who I am working with managed the impossible. Although I am very excited I was concerned about some of the reviews with crowding issues, bad food and wild drunken crowd. Since a lot of people are depending on me, I have been concerned. Although we are looking to have fun, since our cruise group is about music, we are a group mainly 40s to 60s so we are old, lol. But the ship sounds and looks great and perfect for what we are looking for. Thanks again.

We just returned from our Northern Loop cruise on the Xperience in October, and had a fantastic & enjoyable voyage on our Celebrity cruise. The size of the ship was perfect, and I think we lucked out by choosing this itinerary and medium size ship. The wildlife was outstanding! I was wondering why there weren't any reviews yet, so I wrote one myself:
If anyone has any questions about the ship, the itinerary, the wildlife or excursions, please ask! It was truly one of the best cruises I've ever taken.
Thank you for your review, it is wonderful. We actually just booked the Flora for May 2020 and I’m quite excited. It is bigger than Xperience but it’s nice to know Celebrity is doing a great job in this region. I will be on the lookout over the next couple years for any and all information related to Galapagos. Thanks again.

Thank you!
Then we will leave the Millie the day you embark.
Doing the cruise 03/18 :D:D
Oliver, Too bad we won’t have a chance meet. You are an amazing photographer. I love taking pictures but mine don’t hold a candle to yours. Enjoy your cruise. I was a bit worried about the old girl, and also traveling in Asia, as it is our first time for both, but your blog and many other pictures I’m seeing put my mind at ease. Thanks again and Happy sailing. Laura

Thanks so much for your review and fabulous pictures. We leave for Shanghai on 28 March and embark on Millie on 1 April for China, Korea and Japan cruise. Your pictures are really making more excited. 😊😃

I too was able to get an upgrade from SS to CS on my April 1 Millie Asia cruise, for very little cost. I’m so excited to have the extra space on a 2 week cruise!:D I was also able to keep my 4 perks! The original SS was a crazy good deal and this makes it even sweeter, pun intended.

Wow, this thread is making me hungry. Lol. Will be on Millie in March and I’m a huge fan of coffee and sweets so I know where I will be a great deal of the time. Coconut cake you say!?OMG my favorite! I can’t wait to try it. Thanks for the info and pictures.

Thanks transam for the information, very disappointing for you. We also really fancied the itinerary but not at the prices it was advertised at.
Yes, I am saving a bundle of money with new Persuit Italy Intensive cruise over the prior. Granted it is shorter by a few days but the big price difference helps.

Thank you for your honest and balanced review. We will be on Millie the end of March. First time on Celebrity. We have mostly sailed Royal. I know the ship is older and hopefully I have the right expectations so won’t be disappointed. This cruise is about the ports and visiting a friend in Kobe, so I’m not looking for a big glitzy ship. We also got a crazy deal on a sky suite. I too think it was a mistake because since we booked the prices have more than doubled for same level suite. I also got, premium liquor, free internet and $300 on board credit included in the crazy price, so at this point I’m thinking it is a win. Thanks again. I enjoyed reading your review.

The Italy Intensive Sept 2019 cruise has been chartered. We were booked on that cruise and were told this about a month ago and that our booking was being cancelled. We were given a bunch of perks to rebook a different cruise with Azamara, so we booked a Persuit Italy Intensive in a May 2019. A bit shorter, and I’m a little disappointed, but I’m ok with the change, and I’m looking forward to sailing on Pertsuit.
Has anyone gone on the The 12 day holy land cruise this year?

We were on Odyssey holyLand cruise Oct 2022. Loved it. Odyssey is a great ship. We booked all private tours. They were great. Loved every port.
