I prefer sea days over port days. There is something about sailing on the open sea that appeals to me. I am not a gambler so the casino being open does not factor in the equation. I just like sitting on our balcony or on an upper deck and watching the water go by.

I joined this party late, too. I have enjoyed catching up. What a great review!!! I can't wait for more!

Restaurant reservations become available at 120 prior to sail date for most.  Suites and Haven 130 days prior, upper tier Latitude and Club Balcony Suites may book at 125 days prior.

We are sailing on the Epic on March 1, 2025. Approximately how far in advance of sailing do shore excursions and specialty dining become available for booking?

I have searched NCL's website and this thread and cannot find a clarification. We just booked a cruise on the Epic for March 1, 2025. We part of the Free at Sea is a "2 Meal Dining Package". Does this mean we each get 1 meal  or do we each get 2 meals? My first thought was we each get 1 meal making a total of 2 but on my vacation summary it says "2 Meal Dining Package QTY: 2" which leads me to think we each get 2 meals. Someone please clarify for us.

Sailed on the Mardi Gras on April 29th and our Ocean Suite was ready and sign & sail cards were in the mail slot as soon as we boarded.

I have submitted my full review and of course it needs clearance before it is posted but I couldn't wait to say what a GREAT time we had on board. Fully loaded with PAX (about 5800) but staff was above and beyond equal to the task. Ship is outstanding, Food (subjective) we loved it. We only ate in the main dining room the one lobster night but did Rudi's, 555, barbecue place, Italian twice and Chibang and never were let down in the least. Entertainment varied and plentiful, Comedy was Great and everywhere, Getting on and off were a breeze. It has been 10 years since my last Carnival trip and honestly, had some reservations but they were all unfounded. Surprisingly we smelled weed in our hallway twice but after the second time, security was on the floor with dog assistance so I'm sure someone is rethinking their partaking. We didn't smell it a third time. One of the comedians really did a bit about it and it got roars of course. Fantastic FUN time throughout and we are already looking for next spring. I have an MSC and a celebrity cruise booked already and might rethink the January Celebrity. Can't say enough good things about it all! A convert I am!

We were on the same sailing. We had a GREAT time. We enjoyed the ship and it never felt crowded. We haven't booked anything yet but I can see us sailing on her again.

We've done plenty of Celebrity and Royal but this ship and sailing out of Canaveral really hit the spot for us. Been eating up all the Mardi Gras I can find and yours has been stellar. TYVM!

Thank you very much for your great review. I have been following along and enjoyed your narration along with Patti’s wonderful pictures. Our cruise on the Marci Gras isn’t until next April but I felt like I was almost there with y’all. Again, thank you and I look forward to reading more of your reviews from your future sailings. Hopefully, sometime in the future our paths will cross and I can buy you a bucket of beer.
